Did anyone go to the yard sale today at Food Depot at 92 & Brownsville Road? Better yet did anyone even know about it? I heard they had about 160 people signed up for only 100 yard sale spots in their parking lot. It was free to set up. I am thinking there was probably a lot of confusion if all those folks showed up. Wondering if there was any good stuff there? Good idea I thought. Maybe brought some customers to pick up milk & bread while they were shopping for rusty treasures.

I agree 115%, I am also concerned about MY money and couldn't really care less about how much Romney has or how much he paid in taxes. However I am tired of the riderick about Obama not being born in America. I am in NO shape or form an Obama fan - have never voted for him and never will!! But, there is PLENTY Obama haters NEED to stay focused on and point out what has NOT been accomplished the last 3.5 years rather than continue to beat that dead horse OVER & OVER! He has provided a birth certificate of his USA birth. Now MOVE ON!

Brunswick Stew and Hot Dog Dinner is Canceled for the 18th
Zippity Doo Dah replied to surepip's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I would love to go and hope it works out to be when I can. I love some good stew. But, even though I am not conerned about safety or anything like that I would feel awkward going to someone's home for something like this. I am curious as to why this is a political fundraiser. I am not judging nor do I mean to come across as mean but did Mrs. Morrison's oponents have to raise money to cover their campaign debts? I would think when you qualify for a campaign you would EXPECT to pay quite a bit out of pocket to campaign. I was disappointed to see Mrs. Morrison place 3rd out of the 3 candidat -
So was the special last night only for the S.A.L members? Or could anyone get the wings for $.50? I was by there last night and didn't know anything about the special, didn't see anything about it.

:yahoo: BTW, WHO is the S.A.L?

I tried this site. But, when I click on the month it "appears" to have large boxes that can be written on. But, when I printed it the date takes up the entire box.

I do not have MS Word and am not real intelligent when it comes to working with the operating system. That is why I am trying to find one online I can print. Thank you, tho. THANK YOU. I will check it out now.

Are you still doing the $.50 wings on Thursday?

Does anyone have a link for a printable calender? I have tried to google but cannot find what I need . I need it where each day has a block for writing inside the block. Not, just a monthly calender with dates. Thanks for any guidance.

My PRINT, TOOLS, EDIT bar is missing?
Zippity Doo Dah replied to Zippity Doo Dah's topic in RECENT TOPICS
That worked temporarily but leaves again. But, at least I can press ALT and get it long enough to click on what I need to do. Thank you. When the bar isn't there neither is VIEW. But, I will go to VIEW when I press ALT and go to toolbars. Maybe then I can figure out what to change to make it stay. Thank you for the inf. ETA: that worked. Don't know how it get changed? thanks again. -
The line across the top of my laptop with the print, tools, edit, etc is missing. How do I get it added back? I need to go into tools and make some changes and I need to print. YIKES!

Years ago I was working for a large business in Atlanta. They had an employee get together and it was a country/western hodown theme. I didn't have anything to wear but borrowed a skirt and pheasant top from a friend who did a lot of line dancing, etc and went to places like Cowboy's a lot. The skirt was WAY too big for me as she was about 4 sizes larger than me. I pulled the skirt up and wore a belt over the waist to help hold it up. It was also very long as she is 6'2" tall! They were introducing all the new employees and when they called my name I was to stand up. I stood up all right but w

as my son says the place where cats go to eat fish
Zippity Doo Dah replied to spongebob69's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Since having the fried catfish at Bay Breeze in Mableton I will drive a few extra miles (although it isn't that much further from where live to go to BB than it does to go to CFD. The boiled shrimp at BB is amazing - very large and they come shelled so I don't spend the majority of my time peeling while the family eats. Not to mention both are very good and not as expensive as CFD either!! It doesn't seem like CFD stays open long enough to build their business back up. DUH???? No one is "home". -

does your 6 year old have an F/B page?
Zippity Doo Dah replied to dawneykids's topic in RECENT TOPICS
My 8 year old has one but that is the extent of it. An older friend set it up for her but neither of them can remember the PW which is fine with me. She had sent friend requests to family members who didn't accept her because they post stuff on their pages that is not appropriate for an 8 year old. The relatives are adults and their pages are for adults. My 12 (going on 25) year old has one but I monitor it and am the only one who can approve friends on her page. -
I am really confused about the gambling machines in Paulding County. At the SavATon (or whatever it is called) on Bus 6 they have gambling machines in the back and there is ALWAYS people sitting at them. 99% of the time it is the SAME folks day after day. And, I believe they are paid with cash. So, what makes some of the machines illegal and others not? OUCH! TOO SOON? YES and tasteless.

Truett Cathy is a good man and stands strong with his values. I have no problem with that. But, according to his son every person who is not still married to their first wife is a lesser person. And, no I am aware he didn't specifically say that but his implications could not be missed. I also think it is funny that a LOT of folks are on the CFA payroll who ARE gay and live "in sin" . without the Cathy's having a clue.

Spaghetti and FRIED WHAT? at Rodney's (Wednesday)
Zippity Doo Dah replied to Rodneysbbq's topic in Business NEWS
The Friday night special sounds really good at a great price. What else is available for the BIG BREAKFAST week-end? Or I guess I should say what would I come to eat that does not involve eggs? BTW, the pecan pie Wayne baked last Friday night was AWESOME. The closest to what my Maw-Maw used to make that I've eaten since she died in 1981! -
Spaghetti and FRIED WHAT? at Rodney's (Wednesday)

PLEASE share your recipe for the Fried Pepperoni Spaghetti AND the Chicken Pasta Supreme when you figure it out. Ohhhhhhh how I MISS the Italian Kitchen!!! Especially their stomboli hoagies, not the Italian kind but made with ground beef pattie, brown gravy and onions like what they made at Pasquale's about 40 years ago. YUMMMMMMM. -
