My son was 20 when he had both of his hips done. He is 26 now and doing great. His AVN was caused from mega doses of prednisone but I have heard that some people's bones react to very small doses of prednisone (such as those doses you get when you have an upper respiratory infection... 5 one day, 4 the next, 3 and so on). He had his surgery done by a Dr. Henry who works out of Northside Hospital and he was great. He too, is a little full of himself but that doesn't bother me as long as they do a good job. My mother and father in law have both had hip replacements and everyone I know say

My son has had both of his hips replaced by Dr. Henry. I don't remember the name of the group he is with but he is across the street from Scottish Rite. He has done hip replacements on some professional athletes.

It was part of the pre game activities at North Paulding's football game.

I thought I was having an all day hot flash!

I live in 12 Oaks and miss the dragstrip too. The sound of the dragstrip was always the start of Spring.
