When I'm elected Governor of the great state of Georgia, it shall be illegal to keep your Christmas or other holiday lights up past January 15. I'm being gracious and giving you a grace period till the 15th to get your lights down. After that, there shall be a $1000 fine for every day your lights remain up and if they are turned on, the fine shall be doubled every day until such time as the lights have been removed.

Having lived this "relationship" for 20 years of my life, I can tell you that your assessment is spot on. I will also add that you get to the point where you just want to be left alone. You learn to think, "whatever you want, just don't scream at me anymore." For me, the light switch finally flipped and I got out. I finally realized, come what may, I could not live THAT way anymore. Edit: 'cause I can't spell none to good.

For those that remember me posting this and asking for your prayers, I wanted to give you an update. I apologize I dont' have more information. Obviously the immediate family is with the boys and is preoccupied, so we are getting this information second hand from a family member. From what we can gather it looks like Avery (2) is doing better and is up and moving around. Aden (6) appears to have maybe had surgery again and is still living. This 6 yr old boy only had a 25% chance of living a little over a week ago! Good news I think! And the prayers are working!! Neither is
