Easy bake ovens use a light bulb for the cooking. Most toaster ovens have a timer that shuts them off when the time is up. Of course they get much hotter and he would need to be supervised, but they always should be when cooking in any manner. Having his own "oven" in the kitchen could be a real treat. My son could make brownies at 3 years old. I just let him do it all except put them in, and take them out of the oven. Please, encourage him as much as possible.

This thread warms my heart! I am so glad you are doing better. I just wish I could try that stew. Thad this site is just not the same without your dinner topics. We all have missed you beyond words.

I have bottle rockets you can have. Mutt needs a tail bag, like they put on horses on the beach. Then it can home home with it.

Welcome home. So sorry about your Dad. Seeing them get frail is so hard.

PCSO Accidental Shooting Leads to Death of Child
krwills replied to gpatt0n's topic in Fastread page
I think they should all be removed out of respect for the family. How would any of us feel if our horror story was a public discussion like this? -
I can't believe what my Garbage Service just did

PCSO Accidental Shooting Leads to Death of Child

But you do not live in an area with any PUBLIC TRANSPORT that most of us working people can actually use. Get back on the subject started or close this thread, please. It is horrible that this child is gone. It's so very sad that it happened, but this thread is worse -

And let's limit food, because it makes people fat and oh good grief Tragic mistake. Prayers for all. -
In Bartow County I can recycle just about everything. There is a place for tires, bottles, steel cans, aluminum, plastic of all kinds, paper, all metals, processed lumber, and cut trees & bushes, Christmas trees, and even mattresses. I wish every where would get more involved in recycling.

I also noticed the decline. We do get tired of the same old poster, the constant arguments, and folks that just want to start crap. Paulding.com has been, and still is, a wonderful resource for the community. I wish more areas had a website like this. I recall many times that the only way I found out what was going on in my neighborhood was here. There are many things that can revive the life blood here. I hope it does happen.

The small creek farm that sells pumpkins and has a corn maze
krwills replied to SushiBoofay's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I have been several years ago, and it was a blast. But I love all the little animals, of course. Have you been on their website? Cartersville also has a Fall Festival in town square Saturday 5-8pm. So you could check out both. I know the festival is great every year. -
Even "In God we trust" cannot help us now.

I must say that the Sheriff's office is not happy about what Judge Foster decided to do. They have been helpful and polite. They seem very sincere about the bad situation. At least they know to look out for him. The bad thing is that in Paulding it normally takes from 1-1/2 to 2 years to take a a case to trial. That is a long time for idiots to be on the streets, unsupervised. -
I am tired of all this rain, all the sad news, and want to have better things to talk about. Looks like Bartow County has a ton of events this weekend, from a animal zoo at Barnsley Gardens to an Octoberfest at Anheuser Buch Plant. Who else knows of great stuff happening this weekend? Check BuyBartow.net/events/ Oktoberfest at Anheuser-Busch October 3 - October 4 An authentic German Oktoberfest celebration of beer, food and entertainment. Begin the day with the ceremonial tapping of the keg. Guests ages 21 and older may join in the ceremonial toast. See the famous Budweise

Did you see anything? Pallets stolen for church pumpkin patch
krwills replied to MissSophie's topic in RECENT TOPICS
We have a lot of the 4'x 4' plywood that comes on ours. You are welcome to that if you do not get more pallets. I know with all this rain, they are going to need to be off the ground. -

I am so sorry. We just gave away about 30 from the warehouse in Kennesaw, or you could have gotten them. -
Well, I wonder how long this will last before somebody gets offended?

LOL All of this over some stickers, but nothing is said about church being held in every school, on Sunday? Do they even pay the light bill for that? -

All the neighbors that got shot at, need to know they are in danger again. Maybe the Sheriff's office can explain to them why it's ok for people to shoot at them. You know this is why I had to move from my home on Cedarcrest Rd. I was so sick of being told " I had the right to protect myself". What is their job? Take them to jail and then just release them back to the same neighborhood? Heck he didn't even get neutered! -
I know several of you know the trouble my Mother had, the end of May. I had posted that being at the dance had saved her life. Well, with all she went through, the sheriff's office called to say he was released, she could come get him. She did. She is 86 years old and they just as well have just signed her death certificate. I have called the neighbor's to let them know that they are all in danger again. I do not know what else can be done. I had never been protected in Paulding County, but now they are endangering my Mom. I am at my wits end. I wish I could trust in God here, but there

I cannot believe all the BS that is coming from a county that has church services in nearly every school there, every Sunday! No wonder they build a new church on every corner, no one can agree on a darn thing. Rather than accept, love, and learn from each other you all want to fight over EVERYTHING? I am so sorry. May GOD help you. -

It might be more effective if it said: "In God we trust. The rest of you please, step back." -
The KY clerk who won't issue marriage licenses
krwills replied to stercus tauri's topic in RECENT TOPICS
This has really nothing to do with her religious rights either. She has the right to whatever she believes. No one is questing that at all. She does not have a legal right to hold a job that she refuses to do, for any reason. She needs to step her self righteous self aside and go find another drum to beat, and maybe another husband or two. -

It is against my religious beliefs for our government to take my tax money and spend it against my wishes. If I quit paying taxes, do you not think I would go to jail? Why don't we all try it? This self proclaimed Christian is just a media queen. -

Her rights are protected. She is free to worship as she believes. She does not have the right to get paid to do a job that she will not do. She does not have the right to hold others to her beliefs. BIG DIFFERENCE. -
SQUEEELLLLL!! Thank you, so much. Baby ducks are so dang cute. You cannot see them, and not smile. Now, somebody find these swan-nappers a victim. You know how to tell male from female?
-
Have you checked the Farmer's Market Bulletin? They did have pairs for 1K We might have to take a collection, but heck what's 500 bucks to get swan babies? Seeing how there has been a shortage of duckie pictures this year. LOL
