  1. Well my guess is, that very few men will remember that name.
  2. Best time to search for pot fields is in the dark, right after harvest isn't it? Maybe someone lost a golf ball?
  3. LOL!! They could put rolls of paper on the seats, like at the doctor's office tables. But no, I missed the song, maybe next time. It's bound to be a hit.

    Mr Dis

I can't believe you would use the belief that we could all make this TSA scanning such a fun thing, just to start a big brawl on here! Shame on you.
  5. I had to go see, but it's called "Oyster Cafe". It is WAY cleaner than the Oyster King was. It's actually pretty nice for the price. You have to ask where the restrooms are, instead of your nose telling you, like the old place.
  6. Tell him Gloria loves him and misses him.
  7. It is no longer called the Oyster King and it is a little further south on 41. It was ok. I still go out to the manic's place past Roses Store. He has GREAT shrimp & oysters! He can also order your crab legs by the case for you. Prob oysters too. I would think. We used to have crab boils on a regular basis, and they come with a tag in the box from the ship they were caught by. We have had crab legs in Hiram, Ga. that were caught off shore of Alaska in less than 9 days. They were fantastic!!
  8. We brine, then smoke our turkey. This year will be apple wood. I love mesquite, like hickory, and like cherry, but apple wood is the best I have ever tasted. I do hope you find someone to do it for you. We are keeping ours busy smoking venison right now. We are smoking, slicing and shrink bagging the meat w/o the bones this year. It takes so little room in the freezer, and makes a quick meal when ypu are ready. If Santa finds it in his heart to bring me a big green egg this year, I may be ready to help you out next year. I have an electric and propane smoker. That doesn't stop me
  9. I got my Butterball @ Kroger for .99 #
  10. As long as there are lunatics determind to kill people, I'd rather be scanned than die. Those folks looking, all day long, at every bodyshape under the sun are not looking at your junk, they are looking for trouble. If you do not want your child touched, have them scanned. You don't want to be touched, get scanned. Be aware of what you wear and carry, and help these people do their job. It is for our own good. I am not giving up and freedom. I have the right to travel. I have the right to have fun and earn a living however I choose. I appreciate the fact that the airlines are trying to k
  11. You know that picture can't be real. He still has his BOOTS on!! LOL!!
  12. HOT DAMAMN!! I'll order one of those too!! With all this talk about getting felt up, I know a lot of old ladies that will probably start flying on a regular basis.
  13. By jove I love it!! As long as it's not like a hospital robe! Where ya want to go? searchingbarginairfares
  14. I am beginning to notice that it is all the places I don't spend money, that are going out of business. Guess I need to get busier.
  15. Just looking at these pictures makes me feel better. Who knows what the actual bar could do? I'll volunteer to help landscape and maintain the plants. Have you come up with a place yet? May not can be in Paulding, with all the water restrictions and all. Oh wait! With the new resevoir that shouldn't be a problem, except it dosen't have water either.
  16. How about something as simple as a beer coozie with a clapper type attachment, so if you happen to set your beer down (yes some folks do) and forget where you sit it, just clap your hands and it beeps or whistles to let you find your beer? Inventions that help real people!!
  17. Hubby would sit them sideways on his lap, with a hand on ther back and a hand on their belly & chest. He'd tilt them forward as far as they could go, then lean them backwards until they were almost laying backward. He would alternate back and forth very slowly and same results.....lots of farts and it worked amazingly well.
  18. What time you going to be over my way? Maybe I could meet ya there. I do have a rug available, if you need it. ( red oriental looking design, very common rug design, prob 4x8 or so)
  19. Depends on the depth they have to drill to. Call Franklin Well Services @ (770) 382-4431
  20. I know this is not just the state involved here, but it should work like this: This is quite interesting. I didn't try to verify any of the numbers (seems ok) but it's the proposal I like. "The Proposal" When a company falls on difficult times, one of the things that seems to happen is they reduce their staff and workers. The remaining workers need to find ways to continue to do a good job or risk that their job would be eliminated as well. Wall street, and the media normally congratulate the CEO for making this type of "tough decision", and his board of directors gives him a
  21. Very similar to mine too, but I saute my onions, celery and seasonings before adding to the cornbread. If I add garlic, I make sure all the veggies are fairly tender before adding garlic. I also add additional seasonings to the cornbread mixture. My family likes a lot of chicken in ours. If you do your own broth, you need to cook your chicken the day before, so you can put the broth in the frig, It lets all the fat rise to the top, so it can be scooped off, before using the broth.
  22. Prob just lack o nookie, and the doc needs to make sure you take care of it. Please don't worry!
  23. No kidding!! When the Burger KIng (where Bojangles is) sat empty for so long, I really wished they would put in a Martin's. City of Acworth was going to put a post office in the old K-mart building, but couldn't work out a lease for some reason. It's just hard to believe that nothing does well there, except Big Lots. LOL!!! oh and Waffle House
  24. It sure has been quiet here in Acworth today. NO TRAINS ALL DAY! It will be backed up for a long time. Hope they get at least part of those tracks cleared soon. Amazing!! No injuries! Thank goodness. You know that had to feel like an earthquake to those folks in those houses.
