  1. Ok Copschick... I've been thinking about this all night. The "getting away" is a game changer. Dunno if I just missed that in the topic or what but we are VERY blessed to have so many amazing things just a few hours drive away. Depending on your budget here is what I have come up with: (you better love me, this felt like homework!) To the North: Nashville (or Nashvegas as I lovingly refer to it) If you two are into music you can stroll down the streets, going in and out of bars with no cover charge, hearing bands that surely will catch a record deal the next day, eat at BB King's Blues Clu
  2. This one woke me and mine up out of our comas. We were sleeping SOOOO hard too. So much for trying to go to bed early... I got just as much sleep as I would have if I had stayed up
  3. Haha that's awesome. I'm between 90's and Reggae Anything to get me through the day!!
  4. Do you listen to music at work? Does the man even allow you to do so? If so, what do you listen to and is it generally suitable for work?? Currently jamming to the 90's Summer Jams on Pandora. Genre stations rock my face off.
  5. I heard it was a sex scandal.... I can't believe the audacity of these kids! I mean seriously I didn't do anything too terribly serious until I was at least 12 and in Middle School!!!!!! Parents these days surely have their work cut out for them!!
  6. Like triple homocide with no known suspects??? Oh man. Or sex scandals. Those always go over really well!
  7. I might ask just for a funny, but you're totally right. It's going to be devastating when they find out it isn't some juicy news story full of darkness and despair. But seriously, thanks for the warning LR
  8. Ok let's try this again lol! I'm fresh outta ideas.
  9. Hmmm this surely is a tough one. What did you guys do when you first met? Maybe a romp down memory lane will lead the night naturally into whatever you want it to be Plus we were all (ok mostly) on limited funds when we started dating our DH's so it's gotta still be cheap today Camping is surely a no no... I shudder at the thought in this weather.
  10. Trip to Frederick's or VS? I know a place you can get some neato shoes
  11. Hahaha Princess That's adorable. I can't even get my dog to come back in. He's too busy tagging everything to notice he hasn't actually gone potty. SOOO annoying. Wish he'd make it quick and easy.
  12. I truly hope Judge Judy sent that tape to Congress. I see this everyday... it peeves me off to NO END!!
  13. I'd rather buy new clothes than do laundry.
  14. How did you ever guess that!? There's a fine line between interesting and self serving.
  15. Great now I'm craving beer and calzone... way to make this work day even harder to get through LPPT!!! I love you though!
  16. Is there a way to block posts from certain members so that they do not appear in your new content?
  17. Oh yes! I know exactly which neighborhood it is... We've actually cruised through to see if she parks outside during non work hours but couldn't locate a house. I was going to leave a note on her mailbox. I'm definitely not afraid of confrontation at all, especially when it puts me and those around me at risk. Not to mention, if I get a scratch on my car, there will be blood. CALM?! Oh wow that's even worse. She's probably oblivious to what she's doing too... Sooo dangerous...
  18. Ok so now I don't feel so bad knowing that I'm not the only one who has encountered "that guy" or "that girl" on their commute!!! Mine is a flesh colored (gross, I know) VW Bug on Macland that heads east after she turns violently out of her neighborhood and into traffic. Hopefully you can get some resolve on this crazy person. Sounds like they need to take some anger management courses or at least driver's ed again!
  19. This is why I transferred... I couldn't handle it. I carpooled with my mom, who works for the same company, and I'm just too passive to handle Atlanta traffic. She'd be screaming not to let people over and I'd just sit there til everyone was where they wanted to be, then proceed to work. My blood pressure would go through the roof and I can't even begin to describe how many wrecks I (thankfully) avoided. I now work in the Paulding office 2 lights from my house. Best decision I ever made. I'm glad you had the "cahoneys" to attract the cop and send him after this guy. Road rage is normal b
  20. Same thing with Victoria's Secret (worked there 3 yrs ago). People would bring in the nastiest, used items, I'd ever seen!!! I mean STAINS... bodily fluids.. well you catch my drift. We had to take it back (very loose return policy) but we'd rip it (with gloves on) and send it back to the warehouse to be written off as a damage. I can't imagine what I'd do if I ever found out my unmentionables were USED before I bought them. Makes you wonder what WallyWorld does with their returned undergarments...
  21. Just think of it being like the cave that Alibaba and his 40 thieves hid the treasures in. You wouldn't whisper the command ::open sesame:: for the stone to move, you'd yell it! OPEN SESAME! Just like the forums
  22. Don't know if it's too far away for you, but I use Dr. Espy at OB-GYN Associates in Marietta. He is PHENOMENAL. He even makes jokes with you when he's in the middle of a procedure. Murphy's law posters are on the ceiling so if he isn't making you laugh the signs surely are. Great, great, GREAT doctor. My mother sees Dr. Kelley as well as my aunt and cousin. That practice treats our whole family. Dunno if this was helpful seeing as how far away he is, but quite franly I'd drive further to know that my lady parts are in good hands. Edited to add link: http://obgynassociatesmarietta.com/goo
  23. I wonder if the OP meant it when it was stated what have "we" done...? People my age haven't had a chance to ruin anything yet.
