  1. Apologies. Again, I'm not a sweets eater.
  2. No no no, you are not the only one!!! I LOVE white cake. Oh man... and frosting that isn't OMGWTH too sweet. I can't stand sweets most times and usually take the icing off of anything I eat. I always tell Hubba I'd rather have another helping at dinner rather than eat dessert. But I do promise to come in and try what you have. I'll eat you out of dark chocolate covered strawberries everyday if they aren't too pricey. I'm pretty excited about there being 2 bakeries in the county. It was a seriously neglected market and could do very well here. I wish you the best of luck and welcome to PC
  3. See what I mean, I don't want to be THAT neighbor. The appraisal and inspection are going to happen regardless. Looks like I'm gonna see if it's been done and hopefully it has and is at the records office. I just won't leave the 10ft around my house until I know for sure. Also, thanks for the links! I was able to access something of use on there, but did notice they are making you pay for the extensive info. Bummer.
  4. Haha, true. Buuuuuuut, I'm lazy and don't want to tack on the price of a surveyor AAAAANND closing and move in costs. I just hope someone has had it surveyed before and the records are at the courthouse.
  5. In the process of buying my first house with IDeal Real Esate Professionals (C. Mark Willix and Brandon Bramlett). I'm in that lovely pending stage where the attorneys do their thing and was trying to gather up as much information as possible about the property as I can before we move to closing. Does anyone know how to get the county records on the property, tax information, property lines, and anything I might need to know before signing the dotted line?? I'd prefer to be able to do this online (I work during the county's business hours each week) but could send my lovely other half if need
  6. God knows I'll NEVER drive through PS ALONE ever again. I wonder if it would have escalated to this level if the cops knew they were being watched by more than their own camera. Disgusting. If that man felt like he was violated, he probably was. Trust me. And trust that they'll find a way to pin charges on the man who was pulled over and the cops will get off scott free. I know too many of the cops from that area and the ones I have had the displeasure of being around are a different breed of dog.
  7. I had been meaning to ask about the house, but wanted to search to see if anyone had answers or questions about it before. Seems like we're all still a little out of the loop. Total bummer.
  8. I've got to revive this post. This house is the most aggravating thing in the world. Does anyone have ANY new information on it or am I just going to scream "WHYYYYYYY?????" everytime I drive by it for the next 3 years.
  9. Well darn... free breakfast and lunch? Oh well maybe next time.
  10. QT just dropped off a ton of sandwiches for the employees at my work for no reason at all! I gotta tell you. Working in this intersection has a LOT of perks with all the new restaurants and fast food places (now gas stations!) in competition for our lunch breaks!! I got the club sandwich and OH MAN it's amazing! I figured they were made in some factory a billion miles away and delivered but apparently they are made in Ellijay every morning and delivered fresh to the stores in the area. Now that's what I call a definite commitment to deliciousness. So 3 cheers for a GAS STATION provid
  11. This morning was my first "Fall" feeling!!! There's something to inexplicable about that sensation you get during this time of year. It makes me want to run through pumpkin patches, eat apple pies from the mountains, and go fishing!!! :)
  12. Young the Giant, The Civil Wars, Death Cab for Cutie (not new but definitely always on my playlists), and Adele These 4 have me jamming out in the car lately.
  13. Ahh that stuff drove me crazy when I was in the biz. But alas, if it's necessary, it's necessary.
  14. Dang, didn't think the U would belong to that place... Not after the way everyone talks so highly of it all. But in all fairness the health scores could be for meat not stacked correctly or toilet paper on the bathroom floor. Hope they get a 2nd chance to bump it up.
  15. My co-worker's mom runs a daycare out of her house in south (I mean SOUTH) GA. She was watching 3 children one day that were all two years old (2 boys and a girl) and took them on some errands with her. Well in this SUPER small town there was only one gas station, so she stopped to fill up before she got going on the errands. When she got out of the car, the little girl said in the sweetest southern drawl "You going to getchu an ice cold beer Ms. K? You gonna getchu a ice cold beer??!!" Apparently, after daddy picks her up everyday, he stops at this same gas station to pick up some re
  16. I got that in an email at work and laughed soooooo hard. It had a picture of an OOOOLLLLD Asian man, but the photo wouldn't copy for some reason!! Asian accent approved!
  17. My New Primary Care Physician I Love this Doctor! Q: Doctor, I've heard that cardiovascular exercise can prolong life. Is this true? A: Heart only good for so many beats, and that it... Don't waste on exercise. Everything wear out eventually. Speeding up heart not make you live longer; it like saying you extend life of car by driving faster. Want to live longer? Take nap. Q: Should I reduce my alcohol intake? A: Oh no. Wine made from fruit. Brandy distilled wine, that mean they take water out of fruity bit so you get even more of goodness that way. Beer also ma
  18. BANKIN! ...and this why I'll never be an adult. ROTFLMAO!
  19. WARNING: Link contains mild foul language. Be cautious at work. The Sneaky Hate Spiral Here is an entry (by my favorite blogger) that illustrates (literally) how things go from bad to worse. I think she hits the nail on the head.
