I have never tried coffee grounds on my steak, but........ My dad always made the best chili of anyone that I know. What he didn't know is that my mom would always sneak in and put a teaspoon of coffee grounds in the meat while it was cooking. I caught her once and she swore me to secrecy. I never understood it. After mom passed and dad made chili it never tasted right. One day I remembered that little added ingredient and finally shared it with him. It really does give it a much better taste. NOW I will try it on the steaks too.

Exactly.....mine is high in iron. Sadly my Landlord would rather pay $150 almost every month for the last 2 years to have a plumber come and replace small sections at a time when they spring a leak rather than to pay $1000 to have it all replaced at once. Go figure. Oh well, it is his money.

All of you people that are being followed are making me jealous. I really wish that I was interesting enough for people to follow. SO, I am putting in a request. IF you are rich, single and a hot man who likes large beautiful women and wants to lavish me with gifts and free tanks of gas, I will be at the QT this afternoon. Feel free to fill up my gas tank, buy me a fountain drink and follow me to Jared's while I pick out a nice piece of jewelry.

Interesting, I have never heard of that. Since I rent the place I will pass the information onto the Landlord. They did say that there is a lot of problems when it comes to Copper and Well Water. I do agree tho that the well water tastes much better.

3 plumbers have told me that the pipes are being eaten. 3 different companies.

Call a plumber. And may I give you a little advice. If the house has copper pipes do not buy it. Well water eats the copper and you will have a new leak every month. Take it from someone who is dealing with 5 leaks as we speak.

I want to add something to your observation. Watch and see how much more often people who use hand sanitizer and Lysol Frequently get sick. In my opinion, when we kill the bad germs we also kill the good germs and are more apt to get ill. Just a thought.

The answer above is correct. I will add to it tho that even tho it is not a firearm a minor cannot purchase a bb gun nor bbs in most stores. My nearly grown son needs me to go with him to buy BBs at Walmart, of course I also have to buy his spray paint too. While I understand and respect this is drives me nuts that the Government thinks it is too dangerous for a 16 year old to buy BBs BUT they will allow them to have a license and get behind a wheel. Sorry to vent....just a huge irritation of mine. Carry on.

I knew both of them well and respected them both. Do I think that some of the things they said and did were wrong........Definetly. However, as Americans they had the right to their beliefs. I think they should have kept their mouths shut sometimes, but hey........so should I. I am very good friends with Mr. Maddox's grandaughter and think highly of the family.
