Having no faith except in man is a daily let down. You can always argue circumstances and realms. I'm not here to fuss and fight about your non beliefs as its your definite ending that ends in a box with no reason for life. No reason for your existence. No hope for anything that is not proven. It's sad when there is no faith.

I have seen 2 ghosts in my life. 1 was my great grandmother that I had never met, at her old home when I was 7-8 years old. She was the white , see through kind. The other was a man in savannah that i thought was part of a haunted tour. He was physically a tall man, top hat like Lincoln's, black vest and a purple vest and beard. He walked straight through the iron gates that padlock the cemetery, pulled the vest straight and turned right, walked down the sidewalk for about 100 ft and disappeared. I will never believe any different as I had 3 others with me on the same corner that saw him also.

You both are right, they do need to be recycled. Usually jobs are small and make it easy for me to. recycle. I take the lights to HS usually to recycle. The last retrofit I did went there. All of the good T8's we replaced with the county were put into storage so the county didn't have to buy more lamps when the county already paid for them.

LOL T8's at 30k. LOL. That's a great story. Also its just. Little bit of health issues linked to Mercury. Keep selling millions and burying them in our landfills. We just drink out of our rivers and lakes. No worries ....

T12's should be replaced with LED T8's that use no ballast an only uses 18 watts. No maintenance and plenty of light with no "little bit or minuscule" amount of mercury. Why add that small amount times 5 billion plus per year in our environment? 5 billion times minuscule is LOTS AND LOTS RIGHT?

Move to Denver or phoenix.

That would never fly in my home. I dont care how bad another grown up wants to raise their child.. but it will not change the way we raise ours. We have children that rebel from time to time but the punishment is swift and sometimes harder than other parents would handle it but its our responsibility to teach our OWN children whats proper and what is not. Not some other people in another home. Our kids are raised by Parents and NOT BY A VILLAGE...

I trust Them.. I know many of them and truly think the world of Sheriff Gulledge. I also trust the Chief in Canton as well.. KEN BALL is a super guy too. I think there will always be bad apples in any bunch. Look at our schools and our daycares as well.. Its wide spread everywhere unfortunately.

Most LEDS are at 60Hz the same. I personally have not seen them "flicker" as they have a continuous light source as the chips have a typical release time of the start up and shut down that keeps from damaging the led chips. Now on the 1200$ question... This payback is totally based on your house as home, which lights are on at a specific length and also in creating your payback due to the lack of heat produced from the new lights verses the old lights. The outdoor lighting that I supply now is manufactured in Texas, The company HQ is in Maryland and the warranties are provided by the same American companies. I have 2 kids full time, 4 kids PT and a mother in law that stays here at home 8 hours each weekday. We installed 1200 dollars worth of LED screw in 7 watt light bulbs and average 47-52$ every month. And we have yet to replace one light. I also built my office in my basement in October and use LED T8 tubes there instead of fluorescent and have NO ballast. It's been good for us and for those that have made the swap. Most make the swap $100-200 at a time. Things to think about with regular lights....85% or more of the wattage makes heat instead of light which is the reason of inefficiency. Kind

I have a DirectTV and ATT internet bundle package. It all went through ATT. I love it and its far less than cable. Also if they sign up now they add in the whole NFL game package for free. So its satellite tv and ATT dsl internet.
