I use a local waste company called ELITE waste and recycling. They come to my garage and get my trash and recycling. i love the fact that i dont have to push the can to the top of the driveway AND THEY RECYCLE. They are the best. -

The LED lights that i supply usually are no larger than 9 watts max. typical size is 7 watts. my LEDs have ZERO mercury in them which makes them NON toxic and NON Poisonous unlike the CFL's that supposed to last 5 years. The CFLs are rated for 10,000 hours max and never reach 1/2 of that life and MY LEDS last between 35,000-50,000 hours and use even less energy. they are pretty amazing to say the least. The Radiant barrier is an amazing way to keep the heat away from your insulation which keeps it from penetrating it and moving into your home. it reflects 96% of the heat during the summer

Its impossible without Sq Footage. Im sorry mam, its just that its all done by the SQ Ft and I would have to measure your attic space.
-
Looks like a 5000Sq Ft job is coming soon. Its amazing how much heat this repels. Dont waste your money by using limited products that fail and waste your money. DGLS is proven and is local.

Do Radiant Barriers Qualify? YES!! The new allowance is 10% for the 2011 tax year. Labor costs do not qualify for the rebate. The maximum credit is $500 for the combined years of 2006-2011. Talk to your tax professional for more details. The product must be "Placed In Service" between January 1, 2011 and December 31, 2011 - And you shoud file by April 15, 2012, Here is the new Manufacturer's Certification Certificate for 2011. You will also need the 2011 version of IRS Form 5695 (it's expected to be released by the IRS late in 2011) Tax Credit can only be used for the taxpa

I sent you a quote. Its a rough guess since i have not seen the homes attic. Remember that once Radiant barrier is installed there will never be any extra insulation needed nor will you have to get Radiant barrier again for the same home. Its a lifetime warranty and a 20% energy savings pledge from the manufacture.
-
I would have to just quickly look at the attic space to see how easily the installation would be. 1. Is the house a single story because if the house is multiple levels the attic space wouldnt be 3100Sqft. Plus if the installation is completed this month you also get a 200$ discount because of the Money Mailer i sent out. 2. Adding the Radiant heat barrier is equal to more than 4ft of blown in insulation which saves a lot of $$ 3. I will assure you its cheaper than having insulation added by anyone locally.

90% of homes in America lack the proper insulation or Heat Barriers. This causes your home to lose your heat rapidly at a rate of more than 80% through the roof in the winter and during the summer your home has added heat coming through your ceiling via your attic. Stop wasting your money every day. There is not one time during the year that Radiant Heat Barriers wouldnt save you cash!!!! Its simple, inexpensive, has a $500 Tax Credit and can be installed in less than 1/2 of a day. Please consider using DGLS for your installation purchase and SAVE YOUR GR$$N while being GR$$N. EVERY DAY w

I almost always use Kroger or QT or Racetrac. Those seem to be the safest to me. I could be wrong but they have testings that must be performed regularly.

FLOOR-IT does hardwoods and they are awesome. Also John Andrews flooring does a fantastic job as well. I would always use someone with a good warranty and guarantee.

The Gentleman killed worked in rockmart and was on his way home from his 2nd shift supervisor role. My wife will have to do the death benefits tomorrow as she knew him personally and said he was a really nice and stand up kind of guy. he had recently lost his father and now will see him in the afterlife. May GOD bless his soul and his family still left here. -
Turn your unused electrical items OFF in heat wave
Deepgreenlighting replied to greg30127's topic in RECENT TOPICS
We could also use LED lighting that is not only the MOST energy efficient in the industry but its also Mercury Free. Then if you had Radiant Heat Barriers installed in your attic, your home would be cooler and not use the AC as much and you could theoretically use less energy to cool your home... This would save you thousands over a years time and tens of thousands over the next 20 years or more. -
That price Is installed. I just thought it was kinda high but i guess not. Anyone have Gutter shields that do NOT run over during a heavy rain?
-
My Gutters are shot. I have had them since 93 and they are not quality now. I definitely will go with new Gutters but i wasnt sure if the 5$ per foot Capping was worth it or not.
-
ok. I have had some plastic ones and I hated them. My father has some Metal screens and they seem to work well. I just hate getting on the dang roof and it always happens DURING a downpour before i know its clogged or backed up. lol.
-
hmmm That doesnt sound promising then.
-
And if you do have them.. 1. What was your cost on them if you added them recently? 2. Are your gutters now completely Clog FREE? 3. Who did you use to do the install? I got a quote today and it was $10 dollars a foot and that seemed high but its been FOREVER since i had gutters added to any home.

Its your money, Why are you wasting it?

I read a post on here about HOW HIGH THEIR ELECTRIC Bills were and Yet everyone seems to be just simply accepting it. Why wouldn't you actually do something about it? Doing nothing will create the same issues next month, Next year, and the following year when Electricity has increased another 20%. Lets save you money NOW.. RADIANT BARRIER for $1.75 Square foot and a $200.00 dollar discount if installed prior to the end of August.
