That brings to mind something completely unrelated to shellfish. -

There is just something so very wrong about a neon baby Jesus.

Where is that ugly thing? Didn't it get moved to private property last year? (Or whenever it was.)

You can still give away used mattresses ... just can't sell them. (Though I think there may be a "sanitize & re-cover" exception that permits it.)
-
When did it become legal to sell used mattresses again?

Forget that mess ... I think I need to hop into local politics.

I think I did hear that George would be picking up a regular spot on GMA ... I was asking who would go to primetime after Diane. Charlie left GMA ... now Diane ... who is next?
-
So who will get the spot when Diane retires? Robin? Quomo? Sam? They announced quite a while ago that Diane would be replacing Charlie.

I thought today was a good day for a reminder of Project Blue Light since the officer in Alabama is being laid to rest today.

Absolutely not. You're doing them a favor and if they don't see it that way, you'll know that much more about them.

They have the gas program, too.

There .. fixed it for you. -
I don't get to Ingles often but when I do I am always very happy. I only go to the one on Nebo, though. Not sure if all locations are the same.

The intersection would have to be made substantially larger in order to place an appropriately sized traffic circle for the traffic that goes through there. And it's not an American/European thing ... there are traffic circles in a lot of US cities, including DC. But for the amount of work that would have to be done to put one in at that intersection it would be easier and cheaper to adjust the rise. But that still doesn't change the fact that driver error is the true base cause of the vast majority of accidents there. Heck, people wreck on perfectly straight, flat roads all the time, too. -

You can't seriously be suggesting a traffic circle for that intersection. -

And that causes so many accidents. Folks should never make a directional change without first getting visual confirmation of the roadway, etc. around them. Don't get me wrong ... I agree that there is a real issue with the rise there ... but if people would start driving more like they realized just how deadly a 2,000+ lbs moving object can be perhaps a few more accidents could be avoided. -
That's good to know ... I'll have to check them out. They still do the double coupons there, right?

So if the road looks like it just disappears/dead ends you'd think people would slow down. -
That's exactly how it was at our house. Gifts from everyone else were wrapped, just not the things from Santa.
