Unless you're talking about Huckabee ... already done. Bad guy dead, 2:45 a.m. west coast time. Shot and killed by a 7 year veteran police officer.

They can get the results on alcohol fairly quickly. Depending on backlogs, drugs screens can take much longer. They also would need additional evidence to suggest that his driving was impaired by the drugs.

Once the call was placed to 911 they have no choice but to respond. And just because it is a single vehicle accident on private property does not exempt it from all laws. If they have reason to suspect there's more to the situation, they have to investigate it.

I'm guessing there's just no making you happy. If they take their time to investigate (as best they can without cooperation), they are bad guys. If they locked him up without completing their investigation, you'd surely call them the bad guys. He's isn't going anywhere so why not take their time to complete the investigation?

There could be the DV angle and there could be the DUI (drugs, not alcohol) angle since there were reports that he had been taking pain meds. There may also be the need to investigate based on fire hydrant. He sure doesn't own it ... so whether it is the private community's property or the local governments property, that may be a factor.

This latest time that he was allowed out ... not only do they have his extensive record to look at and the severity of the crime he is charged with (raping a child) but there was (and still is) an active FUGITIVE warrant out for his arrest at the time. Hello!?!?!?!

My son and daughter were both done before turning 3. They may have each had 1, maybe 2 accidents but once they were good during the day, they were fine at night too.

Read the article I linked above ... there are a number of people who should be feeling the huge weight of guilt right about now. No way this guy should have been released as many times as he has been.

If I ever got to the point where I trusted my husband so little that I felt the need to sneak peeks at his stuff I would consider our relationship over anyway so what's the point? I either trust him or I don't. Checking cell, email, whatever wouldn't make anything any better.
