  1. My son says they have the grossest hot dogs around.
  2. This is a great time to start ... if you don't get the answers you seek from folks here, Janet will be more than happy to answer any questions. Janet Boshell (WellStar Health Systems Blood Donor Recruiter) cell phone ... 678-951-3531.
  3. Only going to the doors that don't send them back. So if folks want to help the govt save money they should send their form in. (btw ... I do agree that this particular ad is not as cost effective as we the taxpayers would like to see but the overall campaign is cheaper than the extra door-to-door work that it eliminates)
  4. That's why I'm watching it ... I've been approached to sell it.
  5. Ok, sorry that took so long ... You can call Janet Boshell directly (WellStar Health Systems Blood Donor Recruiter) on her cell phone ... 678-951-3531. Come on gang ... your community needs you. There are lots of slots open for this blood drive and that's not a good thing. We need to fill them. You'll get a free pint of ice cream from Kroger as well as a coupon for a free sandwich from Chik-fil-a. Additionally, anyone who donates blood between January 1 and March 31, 2010 will be entered in a drawing to win a $1,000.00 gift card, compliments of the American Red Cross.
  6. Or, if they have the time before leaving, make sure some of the sitter's favorite snacks, meals, whatever are in the house.
  7. I've been waiting and watching ... hoping for some folks to start commenting on their service experiences with them.
  8. I'll get an answer for you ... give me a sec.
  9. What about Bumble Bee Bakery? Give them a try. Heard lots of good things about their cupcakes.
  10. Whatever you decide to go with please, I beg of you, only use a very small bit. I am soooooo over smelling people's perfume/cologne from 20 feet away.
  11. Whoa Willie is in a couple of other places.
  12. I will absolutely post as others in the area are scheduled. For those planning on attending this one ... please be sure to call to schedule a time. We had one recently at the Cobb S.O. and had to turn people away because there were not enough people there to process the donations.
  13. There will be other blood drives in the area ... the FOPA is working with WellStar to get more scheduled. (They asked us to help get the word out on this one that was already planned through the Paulding Chamber of Commerce.)
  14. Folks, if you can give blood, please make it to this event and give. Blood reserves are at critically low levels in the area. And not only could you help save lives, but you get free ice cream, too. Woohoo! Also, according to the fine folks at Wellstar, Paulding has never had a goal this high and reached it. Lets blow this one out and break through 100!
  15. Hubby used to be a fixture there, too. He doesn't spend much time there anymore.
  16. It could be worse ... ... WINTER STORM WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM FRIDAY MORNING THROUGH SATURDAY EVENING... 17. Comcast and a Netgear wireless router.
  18. (770) 443-8690 And I agree with not being put off by the hole-in-the-wall aspect ... it is often a big part of the charm of a place. And as mentioned earlier in this thread ... I'm sure a lot of folks appreciate something that is the same as it has always been. So very much has changed around this area over the years.
  19. I'd be surprised if they've been able to do the repairs and get cleaned up to re-open by now. You could call them and ask.
  20. Glad I'm not the only one who was stumped by that one. Sonny's? Really?
  21. I know the amount being spent on advertising may seem high but if you compare the advertising cost to the cost of having to have more people going door to door collecting the data you'll see which works out better. The more people they can get to mail in their responses the cheaper it will be. There is no getting around the census ... it's required by our constitution. So doesn't it make sense to try to get it done for less?
  22. Supposed to have opened by now ... guess I better make a special trip over there to check.
