We were planning on driving through there. Why do you say that?

I am leaving for a 10-day volunteering trip to Costa Rica next week. Any advice or pointers? Such as tips regarding luggage, what to pack, what to watch out for, etc. I am going with a group from KSU so we have researched the culture. However, it is always nice to get other people's advice too.

my children attend Poole and have been driving me NUTS for a week now for a stupid yo-yo. I refuse to pay that much for a toy they will either (1) destroy within minutes or (2) lose. We have been on a 'toy purchasing' strike since Christmas. I am sorry that this happened to your child.

I must say, I enjoy sitting home and doing nothing while my hubby works all day. Hehe

maybe I am old-fashioned but I simply write a check and drive it up there. I go by there several times a week.

I am actually going with a leadership group I am involved with at KSU. We are going down to do some volunteer work with children. We are actually staying with host families, so I am pretty excited about the 'full' cultural experience.

I was wondering how long I should expect to wait on receiving a new passport? Should I expedite the delivery? I have procrastinated until the final hour. I am traveling to Costa Rica the 1st weekend in March and am applying for a passport this week. Any thoughts (besides the fact I am a complete dingdong by waiting until the last minute)?

I did do that but it just shows my past subscriptions. There is no where to sign-up for a new subscription. All my other subscriptions expired 3 years ago.

I was just discussing donating my body to science with my mother yesterday. I have never wanted a funeral or to be buried in the ground. I will be dead so I honestly dont care what they do with my remains; they might as well be donated for a good cause.

If an individual is receiving disability, can the also receive Medicaid? Are there any websites available to research more on these two programs?

Apparently, yahoo has a customized toolbar that people can use as a fundraiser. Basically, you get people to download the toolbar and use the links to navigate the internet. For every click from that toolbar, your organization receives .10 cents. There is a monthly fee of $10 if your organization has made at least $25. Has anyone ever used this as a fundraising idea? I am not expecting to make thousands, however, any money made would be helpful.

i find it amusing that i am not the only fan of this program. i am torn though! i personally love the show but i do think that the message it sends to teens may not be the message the creators of the show intended to send I wanna slap Catelyn's mother in the face!!! i think a great episode would be to put Amber and Catelyn's mom in a boxing ring together and beat the crap out of each other Ryan is a piece of poopoo ....
