So apparently using the inside of a halloween pumpkin is not recommended for baking pumpkin pies....After carving our pumpkin, we usually just throw the inside away; however, this year I wanted to do something with the leftovers. What do you guys usually do with it? Or do you just throw it away too?

I have never made a pumpkin pie before. I found a recipe that I wanted to use but it said to use 1 cup of canned pumpkin. Can I use fresh pumpkin instead?

i really don't know about that....we live in a fairly new but small subdivision....there is a lady who watches children down the street from me....next time i am running late, i will have to call her....i didnt realize the bus got to my house so quickly....i underestimated about 5 minutes
