I can't remember the name hut it my be the Historic Inn (?) but it is right above Hey's and the main entrance is located on River St. Maybe River St. Inn. It is definitely about Huey's. Great place to stay and reasonable.

Maybe a question of legal or ethical. If there is a report given to a teacher or school employee concerning possible abuse, it has to be reported to the authorities. There is an ethical policy for educators.

This type of situation happens more then we would want to know but the real issue is the cover-up from the coaches to the teachers/adm. to the civil authorities. The football team had 27 coaches which is amazing and they are being questioned as to the information they had and when they heard about the incident. That will pertain to the ethical issues involving teachers. The hints of cover-up were all over the news and has made the town look bad to many people. I have enjoyed listening and watching Barbra since she was on the Carson show. She easily "tells the story" of the song in the way she sings the lyrics. She worked hard to get where she is and demands a lot from the people around her. With people appreciating the talents of Taylor Swift, Trisha Yearwood. Mick Jagger, Miley Cyrus, I don't know how her voice and singing can be criticized.

She has been a great "lead" vocalist in movies and musical. She can "sell" the songs.

A person from the schools asked me to post this: Fine Arts Day in downtown Dallas is this Saturday. It starts at 10 a.m. and ends around 6 p.m. It has art exhibits, chorus performances, jazz band performances, percussion performances and dramatic performances. Come out and support the young talent in our county schools. Admission is $2.00 for the all the activities. Dallas Theater and Civic Center

On many shows such as "Law and Oder", "DCI Banks", etc, it is clear who the good guys are and who the bad guys are. This show, like a few others , can makes changes as the show moves. Anyone except the lead (Bacon) could be involved. I don't like this at times, because they can have twists and turns whenever they run into a roadblock in their story writing. I'm sure that many of the story lines are planned ahead of time but some appear to be a convenient "escape" at times. Good show but does everyone like the season long singular plot line with the twists and turns?

I have read recently that retirees do well in college towns with all the sports and lively lifestyle. Also, I've heard that Alabama is financially good for retirees so I am looking and thinking.

I'm trying to find a good auto repair place around Maxim Rd, Old Alabama Rd, and Floyd Rd. in Mableton. I heard Pep Boys on Floyd Rd. may be good. Any opinions?

They are using a prosecutor from another town to avoid using someone locally that is connected to the case. They are having 200+ people protesting outside the courthouse about some rich football players not being charged. The boys' attorney said they could not have a fair trial due to the video on the internet even though the boys are the ones that did the video. The football team there is a state "powerhouse" and they are saying the girl is trying to hurt the football team.
