When my kids fought, I made the item they were fighting over go into 'time out' because it caused them to get in trouble. And I made them sit in a chair and stare at each other without talking or making faces until they play nice. They would eventually start giggling at each other.

I think that anyone who signs up for an account should have to verify who they are in the system. It shouldn't be public info, but it should be something in the system. That way if anyone makes threats or makes inflammatory comments, then the admins could determine who the person is and appropriate actions could be taken. I'm a therapist and I worked in a community mental health center. Budget cuts wiped out most of the staff (including myself). The services for those with severe and/or persistent mental illness keeps getting cut. Meds that are needed to maintain stability aren't covered anymore. I get that "Oh! YOU'RE PsychoMom!" I never know if that is good or bad. But, it usually is okay. It is funny though that my daughter had a teacher who said, "I didn't know your mom was PsychoMom" one day in class. I apparently told something I wasn't supposed to about my daughter. OOPS!
