The FBI used pictures of criminals, not just Dillinger, as targets on their shooting range not only throughout the 1930's, the used pictures of criminals in the shooting range known as "Hogan's Alley", up through the 1970's and as far as know, through the 80's and longer. Maybe still today, I don't know. Of course back then, a criminal's families didn't complain about their murdering family member's pictures being used for target practice. I have no idea how many LE officers abuse their privilege and break the speed limit laws, but I suspect it is around the same as those who are not LE who break the speed limit laws. But, I have ridden with many LE officers when not on duty and while everyone of them were speeders, so am I by the way, they freely admitted that they never expected to be ticketed. I guess that is just one of the unwritten perks of the job, sorta like, almost, any other job. But, I do agree that LE officers should try and set an example of following the law. Correction, the only criminals that were not caught and punished. With the exception of those who murdered or at least attempted murder, of the officer's reputation and livelihood, not to mention LE in general.
