  1. For your birthday, a sweet song. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pe-CXI6GgpQ (yeh, that's my girls, but it is a sweet song)
  2. Mmmmm, sounds good. The wife took the grandkids back home, so I snuck out to the store and bought me some sherbert and some jerky. I guess that is my dinner.
  3. Things may have changed, but it used to be illegal to solicit donations or sell things such as donuts at these locations. I almost hit some nut who stepped out in the road, trying to get me to buy donuts back in '92. I drove a half mile down the road to the Cobb County police station on Austell Rd and reported them. I didn't want them to get a ticket, just get gone. I know at that time, it was illegal, at least in Cobb. Usually nothing is done unless someone complains.
  4. What got me liking them to start with, was their first songs/videos were done for themselves and no other reason. They were only posted on youtube so that Riki's family could see them. Their carefree, we are just having fun and entertaining ourselves, attitude was what got me hooked. I can't wait to see them preform and meet them.
  5. Here is their updated song, "Self Esteem". Warning: Mature Subject Matter
  6. What happened to our family, "catch up", letters that come with Christmas cards.
  7. And she has been paying for that ever since.
  8. Mine did. In fact my mother had to quit school in 9th grade so that she could go to work in the cotton fields picking cotton to help support the family. Hmmmmm, she hasn't rioted or looted once in her 80 years.
  9. Back in 1985 we (we being me and my gal) moved to Cherokee County, near the intersection of Hwy 92 and Wade Green Rd. The was nothing close by except a K-mart, a small independent grocery store, a McDonalds, a Hardees and a couple of convenience/bait stores, all at the intersection of Bells Ferry Rd and Hwy 92. There was nothing east along Hwy 92, across I-475, until you got to the intersection of Hwy 92 and Canton Rd. My next door neighbor told me that he was going to sell his house and move away, that the area was getting to congested and that he had moved to Cherokee county to get away f
  10. Just wondering, if the current fire chief is retiring soon, are you thinking about applying for the job?
  11. Nothing new there. The Black Panthers have either been calling for the death of white police officers, or trying to kill white police officers since they started.
  12. Remember what WC Fields said was the best cure for insomnia, lot's and lot's of.....sleep.
  13. I'm still with ya, but I am waaaaaaaaay behind you.....out of the line of fire.
  14. After all, they are always sooooo honest. Felon tries to elude police while dumping dope out the window. He has it on his face while he says.....heck, let's all say it together...."I didn't do nothing."
  15. The way to tell if the world will end on March 16th, is to call someone in Australia on March 15th. Since Australia is a day ahead of the US, if someone answers, then you know everything will be OK the next day on the 16th. If no one answers in all of Australia, then you may not wish to make any long term plans.
  16. Like the man said, "Ain't nothing wrong with shooting, as long as the right people get shot." Perhaps this is a case of crime prevention. No telling how many citizens won't be victimized now.
  17. Dang, no wonder I am not a big hit with the young ladies, I got none of that going for me.
  18. I have no clue about anything to do with the Paulding County fire department, if it is in decent shape, whether it is lead by a competent chief or has enough firemen, whether the firemen have good or bad moral and whether or not it has enough equipment to be a competent fire department, I do know this. If there is problems with the department, in terms of leadership, the equipment, the number of people on staff or the moral of those who work there, that would keep the department from being able to do their job competently, then that is something that needs addressing by those whose jobs it i
  19. Hi young lady. Sorry to hear that you have been under the weather.
