  1. While CC and I disagree about a lot of things, a lot more than I ever knew, I agree he is a good feller.
  2. Here is my view of this whole thing. 1. If you do not want to get shot, don't attack law enforcement officers. 2. No rational thinking person truly believes that what has happened since the criminal was shot, has anything to do with protest or care about the incident. It has to do with people who do not believe in following the law of the land and will use any excuse to break it combined with others who use any excuse to further their own agenda to destroy what is left of this country, while promoting themselves.
  3. I don't see anyone saying that society would be safer with Mr. Brown around. Perhaps that is because the truth is....it wouldn't be.
  4. Here is a question. Is society safer with Mr. Brown no longer at large?
  5. Don't do it. Trust me, DON'T!
  6. You must have gone to a fancy school. I think that in my senior year they did have those ice cream cups (you know, with the wooden spoon) that you could buy. But I left school before lunch for the work release program my senior year.
  7. What else does ATM stand for except Automatic Teller Machine? (rhetorical question, I am sure I don't want to know)
  8. Back in the olden days, we didn't have vending machines for snacks and the only drinks at lunch was water or milk. I remember when we got chocolate milk as an option, big celebration. Did I mention we had to walk uphill to lunch?
  9. You funny and your credibility just keeps climbing. Keep one thing in mind, I have done as much to help resolve these supposed major problems as you have and I that was before I even knew there were supposed major problems.
  10. Sooo the calorie police have now taken over the schools.
  11. I get confused easy, so let me see if I understand this correctly. Two people, whom I do not know, say they are educated and trained in fire fighting and running fire departments and that our county fire department has major issues with; leadership, staffing, equipment and moral. These two educated and trained people are sooooo concerned that they have taking the following actions to help resolve the problem.....they have discussed the matter with the head of the fire department....oh wait, they haven't....they have discussed the matter with their county commissioner....oh wait, they haven't
  12. You have made me aware that YOU say there is issues. Yet you, who say you have knowledge about fire fighting and fire departments are not worried enough to speak to the fire chief. If it doesn't worry you, who supposedly has more knowledge than I (who has none) enough to speak with those who have the power to change things, then why should I be any more worried than you.
  13. So you admit that complaining about supposed problems is the limit of your actions. Heck, in that case, why don't you take on health care also or the national debt. The results will be the same. If there are problems and you are aware of them but take no action, then you are part of the problem. Unless you think complaining to your neighbors is taking action.
  14. You mean you cannot send your child to school with whatever lunch you wish them to eat? Do they now inspect lunches? (Asked because I have no idea what they do)
  15. First, nothing I have said has in anyway been in the defence of anyone. Second, you did not answer my question, which leads me to believe that the answer is no. If that is correct, then you, with your supposed knowledge of problems and issues concerning the safety of our firefighters and the general public have done as much to resolve these problems and issues as some who, such as I, who doesn't know if there are any problems and issues. So who is more culpable, someone who doesn't have knowledge and does nothing or someone who supposedly has knowledge and does nothing?
  16. Nah, I guess I better do a little better than that. Maybe we will grab my mom, who lives in Smyrna, and all go visit the place y'all ate. After all, you gave a good recommendation. (That way I can kill two broads...I mean birds, with one dinner)
  17. First, let me say that I wouldn't know the fire chief from Adam's house cat.Second, you say that you have not attacked the chief. While I don't know what you consider to be an attack, but the way I read the above post, it sure looks like an attack to me. Not to mention your pal Hal's comment about the chief needing to "grow a pair". Your motives may be pure, but your methods are on par with someone trying to motivate their wife to lose weight by calling her a fat pig, in other words, counter productive. I have one question for you and your pal Hal. Have either one of you offered your know
  18. You've inspired me to take the wife out for a dinner and not just at a fast food type of place either. At a nice place, with real plates, real forks & knives and real glasses. A place where someone comes to your table, takes your order and brings you your food. You know, a classy joint. I hear Steak & Shake is nice.
  19. My sneaking some sherbert and beef jerky makes smoked chicken, blackeyed peas and cornbread w/onion sound lame?
