  1. Lots of good suggestions. Thinking good thoughts for you all.
  2. You obviously didn't watch Pulp Fiction. Warning: Language
  3. Do you know what they call a 1/4 Pounder in France? How about a Big Mac?
  4. You are correct! The .50 cal ammo belts were 9 yards long. To give them "the whole 9 yards", was to let the have the whole belt.
  5. Not me, I got a record. Twice I have visited the graybar hotel. The first time I pleaded Nolo Contendere and the second time the case was dismissed. Both were misdemeanors and I was respectively 18 and 21 at the time. Neither time did I argue with or disobey the police officers. As far as mine goes, every family has a black sheep, I was ours. (not counting my cousins, but that is another story)
  6. Am I the only one that has noticed that now that the facts seem to back up the police officer in Ferguson, that certain people who wanted the cop to be a murderer have now switched to other cases instead? Or maybe I misread these posts.
  7. The way I read that, until recently he was successful in not getting caught breaking the law.
  8. Depending on how many women they have...not much drama.
  9. In case you do swallow some of that wax in the future, just know, you won't be the 1st, in fact, I doubt you will be the 100,001st. I hope you get better soon.
  10. No one ever asked to search my car when I have been stopped. I guess I just look like an angel.
  11. What in the heck are you people doing to swallow all this wax? To the OP, I know that people have actually eaten candles without any problems, except as was said, stomach ache.
  12. I don't have a lot of friends that are black, I have some. In fact, I called one them, that due to their living in FL, I now longer see much anymore and spoke with him for over an hour last week. I miss our times together. The mother of our grandchildren is 1/2 black, therefore our grandkids are 1/4 black. So I guess I could say that some of my family is...black? (I reckon it depends on how you see those things, I just see my grandkids, not black or white)
  13. I do not know Judge Osborne. I did play golf with him in a foursome shortly before he became a judge. I enjoyed playing golf with him but I can promise, that neither he nor I would know each other today if we stood next to each other. I do know people, people who's judgement I generally trust, that know him and have known him for many many years and they say he is a good man. Outside of the issue with his daughter, I have never heard anything negative about his ethics before. I hope that the deal with his judgeship and his daughter was a just a bad bad decision made by a father for his
  14. I have never mentioned color. Race, religion, color or sexual orientation has nothing to do with this. I could care less about those issues. This has to do with actions, nothing else. Anyone who keeps bringing those topics up are just looking to cloud the issue. I am reminded of the old lawyer adage, "If you have the law on your side, argue the law, if you have the facts, argue the facts; if you have neither, pound the table." It seems to me that you are doing a lot of table pounding. Quote from Pubby: ...you never know what those crazy black teens are going to do. Yep, according t
  15. Now that is good news. I hope she gets whatever help she may need, if she needs any.
  16. Micheal Brown 6'4" and 290 lbs Unarmed? One punch can crush a man's eye socket or knock him out. I call that armed.
  17. I guess that is another area my beneficiaries are going to be disappointed in.
  18. Now this is my kind of duck. OK, I was going to post a picture of duck a l'orange, with some fantastic side dishes, but decided I liked living more that aggravating.
  19. Of course he was attacking (charging) the officer. The recording of the two people talking, one who saw the event, states that. It also states that the first shots did so little to slow the criminal down, that the witness thought the officer was not hitting the criminal with his shots.
  20. I don't know TP, I try and take each person as they come, regardless of what their job or color or religion is.
  21. I just use common sense (I know that's not popular any more) and my common sense says that what the police officer said, matches the known facts. If it makes sense, it is probably true. If it doesn't make sense, it is probably false. The story that the criminal's defenders give, does not make sense. The story the cop gave, makes perfect sense. And so far the known facts back up the cop. Think about this, the criminal stole, by force, what was it, $40 worth of cheap cigars? Not even something worth a lot of money and yet he was willing to use force to get it. That gives you an insigh
  22. Let's be clear on one thing, what the definition of a racist is. Here is the definition from the Oxford Dictionary: racist Syllabification: rac·ist Pronunciation: /ˈrāsəst / NOUNA person who believes that a particular race is superior to another. So unless someone fits that description, they are not a racist. They may be a bigot or be prejudice, but they are not a racist. As far as walking down a street in a white or black neighborhood. That is a simple answer, it depends on the neighborhood. Black or white, some neighborhoods are not safe and others are more safe. I ha
