Well, as a pregnant woman that will be pumping at work, my opinion is that it is not their responsibilty. Yes, it is super awesome that they are not going to mind if I am away from my desk a couple times a day for 15 - 20 minutes at a time. But, they shouldn't be required to allow that (or anything for that matter) b/c I made the choice to have a baby. They have a business to run. That is just my opinion. ETA:I hafta to agree with DGITW on this. -

TP, pumps are used, and the milk goes directly into a serilized bottle or pouch. It is all sealed. The milk isn't ever going to see the bateria of a toilet unless the mother deliberately does it. -
Dern! I thought they didn't take papers anymore so I tossed all mine. I will see if there is anything I can do.

I agree with you, though I do not think they should be FORCED to do it. I plan on doing this at work, but I don't get breaks, etc. so they are pretty lenient about how much time I take. I will either have to use the restroom or the conference room. -
Are Beer American Drinkers Still Drinking Budweiser?
MrsB replied to Eddie Bennett's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Grrrr. You all suck. I guess I’ll have to stop and get an O’Doul’s after work. I do have some Beck’s non-alcoholic beer in the fridge that is pretty good, actually. I love beer. My husband has always teased me about never meeting another girl that loves beer as much as me. Gawd, I miss it. LOL Anyway, my favorite beer is Miller Lite – I guess I am a redneck, lol. The best smaller brewery beer, IMO though, is Big River’s beers. All of their beers are great, but Red Flyer is my favorite. This is a place in Chattanooga, so IDK if you can get it anywhere other than BRG. I love Terrapin bre -

I think time to express milk is fine, but I do not think they should be forced to build a seperate spac if there is a place in a restroom or office that could be used. Now, I also think that if a woman is expressing milk at work that time should be deducted from other break times... breaks, lunch, etc. -
CO I was thinking about you while I was cooking dinner tonight. I feel about the same, lol, and was not too excited about dinner. I was thinking, "hmmmm... I wonder what yummy goodness Creative One is having tonight..." lol No joke. I love your dinner ideas. We had Shake N Bake pork chops, Stove Top stuffing, field peas and rolls. meh. Too salty. And I ate like one bite of pork :eck: so I basically had bread.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say.... not a liquor store. And in front of Birdies, I have no idea. I am just glad something is going in right there.

CE, what do you need for groceries? I meant to ask in my text earlier and I got a call at work and it slipped my mind. This is too sad. My heart goes out to her and her family.

Republicans in GA Senate May Not Bring Sunday Alcohol Sales to Vote
MrsB replied to zoocrew's topic in Paulding County NEWS
North Carolina has one of the stupidest laws... you can only buy liquor in airplane size bottles. Is that still true? And can't you only buy wine and liquor from state run stores - the ABC liquor stores? TN is silly, too. You can't buy beer and liquor in the same place, but you can buy on Sundays. So, grocery stores have beer, but no wine and liquor. YOu have to hit the package store for those. Package stores do not have beer. There are some places that are technically different locations, but are really the same place. i.e. a wall seperates teh wine and beer and there are different r -
Republicans in GA Senate May Not Bring Sunday Alcohol Sales to Vote
MrsB replied to zoocrew's topic in Paulding County NEWS
IMO, this is really not about whether or not we can have our beer for Sunday football. This is about letting us decide for ourselves what the law should or should not be. The vast majority of the population should not be subject to the Christian Coalition's view on how we should live our lives. That is un-American. Senators are elected to represent US, not the GCC. -
Woohoo! You deserve to toot your own horn! Congrats to you!

Can you see Dolly????

LOL, what is that supposed to say? Sorry, it gave me the giggles. lol I had a veggie Garden Burger with grilled onions, pasta salad, organic fries (ick!)and pickles for dinner. MrB didn't get home until 8:30 so he had that, but it was cold. We had pomegranite popcicles for dessert. yum.

I have given strict instructions to my husband and our family that NO ONE is to dedicate their car or truck to me in the event of my passing. To each their own, I guess. Just not for me.

Do not get the pitocin. I have been doing a lot of reading up on this, and talking to my mom friends. Pitocin is what keeps you in bed with horrible labor pain. It causes you uterus to contract much harder and longer and in faster intervals than normal labor. Hopsiptals use it in the majority of patients wether it is needed or not, in order to speed up delivery. It poses a risk of fetal distress, therefore you have to stay in bed hooked up to monitors, etc. Of my mom friends, some had it with one labor and not the other, and they all said they would never, ever let the doctor gi

LOL, yes, finish line of this pregnancy. Let me share a little secret. The most important lesson I have learned during this pregnancy is that I am very vain and selfish. I have always suspected this, but having a baby in my belly confirmed it Don’t get me wrong, I love him more than life itself already, and nothing can replace the feeling of him moving around in there. BUT, I never realized just how much I loved my size 2s. I never realized just how much it would suck to have acne and swollen feet and sausages for fingers. Sausages so big, I have not been able to wear my wedding rings si
