I think cooking is trial and error to get it right. It has been for me, that is for sure.

I figured it was I love that place. They are so knowledgable. We bought our trees from them and they are huge now. We try to buy as much as possible from them. Great peeps!

If we do something like a chili cook off, I think we should do it in Hiram. Either in old downtown or, see if it could be done in the parking lot on 278 in front of the vacant stores. That is just my opinion.

I make the best white cicken chili for miles, and I make a damn good pineapple upside down cake - in the cast iron skillet like my Granny taught me. I would enter my chili, even tho I've shared the recipe on here.

I don't know, hon. Just be prepapred for anything - including the worst. Someone very close to my heart was in a similar situation. After years of trying to find his mother, being met with anger and silence by her friends and family members, he finally gave up. She found him when her alcoholism had left her broke with no where to live. She had not seen him since he was 14. This was 20 years later. An angry, sad, hurtful soul she was, and still is I am sure. Just be careful. You two have a baby due soon, and maybe right now is not the time for such drama and heartache. Just be careful
