Yeah, we had sticker shock when we went car shopping late last fall. Yikes! Trucks were a lot more than I expected. What I realllllllly wanted was a Toyota FJ. No, not American, but it is badass and it suites me perfect. We just figured that it would be difficult to get a car seat in and out of the ½ door/3rd door or whatever it is called. Sooo, we went with Ford. What the hubs wanted to do to being with. I am really happy with it, though. Got a brand new 2010 Explorer and they were trying to move it. I forgot about Vortex... problem we have is we stop in for a drink at Brewhouse or Yacht Club, and never leave. My husband took off for a week during the World Cup and and spent every single day at the Brewhouse for it, lol. I know! I am about 7 1/2 months pregnant. Hubs keeps asking if I want to go down there (to Little 5 Points) to which I answer, "No! That is torture! " LOL

mmmmm..... La Fonda and Loca Luna.... mmmm..... ugh. I want to go eat at these places. Now. Actually, another place that has good food and you wouldn't know it is the Brewhouse in Little 5. It's "upscale" bar food, but it is good. They ahve a great brunch, too. The Brewhouse is my favorite bar downtown, after that the Euclid Ave Yacht Club - who also has some pretty good food.

I cry whenever I see her on TV or hear her. This whole thing breaks my heart. These boys should not have been given a choice, IMO. This IS going to cost Douglas County a lot of $$, and I think that is sad, too. This should be open and shut
