  1. Thanks! Sorry for the choppiness of the post, lol! I was typing one handed and feeding him with the other. I was just super excited about it!
  2. Sorry, I couldn't find he over threads on my phone, but I had to share. We just took BabyB to have his pictures made, and we couldn't have been more pleased! He has a huge dimply smile in them, and the other we picked out looks like he is talking to him. He was so great with BabyB, and baby didn't cry at all. He was so nice and a great Santa! So happy with BabyB's first ever Santa pics!! Thanks so much. I didn't introduce myself, because I am shy, lol. BabyB had red toboggan on with the snowman. And the big dimples!
  3. All I can think of is.... Iiiiiiii like big butts and I cannot lie, them otha brothas can't deny, when a girl walks in with an itty bitty waist and..... That's all I got.
  4. I have no idea what show y'all are talking about. I'm on my Phone, so if the name of it is in he subtitle of this thread then I can't see it. What is it?
  5. I say crap, but really it's a peanut butter cake, a breakfast sausage casserole, and some cookies.
  6. Oh my gosh. This year has been tough. Right after Thanksgiving MrB was out of town for a week for work, came home sick as a dog. Then I got sick, and have been sick as a dog. I didn't start until Monday, and I finished today. We are decorating the tree tonight, something we always do the weekend after Thanksgiving. Tonight I'm also making crap for MrBs office party tomorrow. Someone stick a fork in me and pass the NyQuil.

    OMG OMG OMG

Woohoo!! Dontcha love it when that happens?!
  8. Was this some sort of love triangle?
  9. You'll be there until 7, right?
  10. BabyB will be by tomorrow to visit! I'm so excited!
  11. Idk, since youre pregnant I'd go to the doctor. I do know, though, that I have been dealing with this for 9 days.
  12. Thus far, $25. That's it. We don't even have a tree. Even with his being BabyB's first Christmas, neither of us are feeling it. I blame my lack of Black Friday shopping this year, and the warm weather.
  13. I'm glad you think so. I, personally, am proud of her, even though I don't know her IRL. She did what any mother and responsible person should do.
  14. I know, right? I'm pleasantly suprised, too.
  15. I'm sorry, Sadie. When I was laid off I couldn't even clean out my desk. It was terrible; I'd never lost a job before. I know how you feel. I've started just scrolling through posts to find yours.
  16. This thread... Wow. I just can't believe some of the comments. If someone has worked hard, made sacrifices to get where they are why should they not be proud? That is not "look at me!" I am proud and glad to know that there are still people willing to make it on the sweat off their backs rather than rely on the government. And I do not care what CEOs make. They can choose run their company however they please. If you disagree, then choose not to do business with them. All I have to worry about is my family, and raising my son to be a responsible citizen. One that knows and unserstands wha
  17. LPPT, I like to think that the majority of us are like that. What I mean is that there seems to be a growing sentiment in our society that leans that way. I do not agree with the OWS movement one iota.
  18. I do not understand the point of this post. I agree with BS. He is right. Yes, the economy is in the crapper and just going to get worse. BUT, what we have is a whole new breed of folks that want something for nothing. And they are coming in droves. Don't believe me? Explain the OWS folks. They have no idea what they want but things handed to them. Just like BS, I, too, am tired of hearing terms like "fair share" thrown around. Point is, when you find a job, work your azz off to make something of yourself. Don't b*tch about how much you aren't being paid.
  19. I agree in part with this. I only brought it up because, IMO, it is relevant to this particular discussion. One should keep in mind it is fiction, but also realize it is a "cautionary tale" of sorts. That is JMO, of course.
  20. It was written in the 50s, but it does not make villains out of the poor. Yes, it is fiction. I do not regard it as my Bible, either. It is food for thought; a very good read. The similarities of our current economic status and society are pretty astounding.
