Paula Deen said to drop a pecan in the pot. It wouldn't mess up the flavor, but takes away the smell. I've never tried it, but the smell never bothers me.

Mark! Since you're a Ron Paul supporter, I think you'd enjoy Atlas Shrugged. I have it in paperback and you are welcome to it. LOL, just sayin'. I told yall i was on a kick. I really do think you would love it, though..

I have a dumb question. If it was leftover, how were you able to keep it rare when "reheating"? Would it not cook it further?

It was pretty cool going trough the cave without a group, just the two of us. He took me on some great dates. He took me to what was he nicest hotel in Chatt at the time and went over to the guy playing the Piano in the lobby and spoke to him for a minute. Then he told me to sit down he'd be right back. He went over and played he baby grand for me. He was so talented. Turns out he was friends with the pianest and would go there to play whenever. Too bad the guy was a jerk.

GaDawg is partially correct... Once upon a time the falls pour freely through the cave. Over the time the water pretty much dried up and now the water is turned on and off. I know this because I dated a guy that worked there while in college and he took me on a "private/behind he scenes tour" for one of our dates. When the groups get to a certain poin of he tour I the cave, the water is turned on. I may have been told and saw wrong, but here was no water when I saw it and that's what the folks there told me.

Moms making a bourbon glazed ham at my house, and I'll be making collards, black eyed peas and Mac and cheese and cornbread. I can't wait to eat my greens!

Well, you are very good at it. BabyB will be there to see you again next year. The grandparents LOVE his pictures with you, as we gave them each a set of both copies we got on the spot. So pleased! It was my favorite part of this Christmas.

You know what made me laugh about this? The fact that she said she didn't want to have to worry when she was walking down the street... Really? How many folks dressed as snowmen and horses are there in England, casually strolling down the sidewalk? Lol!

This made me laugh so hard! Also, I love you HWM, but I'll slap Jessica Black in the mouth if I ever meet her that song is horrible, yet every.single.Friday. I sing that stupid song. Oh, I hate her. Lol!

Ima kill you. Or I'll kill the tall one when I pull his suspenders off and smack his bottom with 'em. Heehee

Thank you!!!!!!!! That was the cutest happy birthday some ever! Lol! I really appreciate it. And, Gipper, my mom's water broke in the middle of midnight mass when I was born, 3 weeks early like BabyB. So yeah, the whole congregation was witness to the beginning of my arrival Gog8tors, tell your sister happy birthday for me!!

40 hour 9-5? Never had it, and I've been working for 17 years (holy crap!) until BabyB was born. When I had office hours, it was "8-5" but I was always there at 7:15-7:30 until at least 6, and I took it home on weekends. When I was outside sales, it was 7-4, then working from a hotel room until 10pm. Gotta say, though, I wouldn't trade Saturday mornings in bed with BabyB over a laptop, cup of coffee, and files strewn about about he bed for anything.

I am not a fan of Christmas any longer. I miss Christmas from my childhood. It's not like that anymore.... Shuffling here and there, grandparents insisting on being present for baby's first Christmas and coming even when you tell them no, please wait a day. It's just a hassle, so much so that I can't even bring myself to take a shower and finish my baking. Sorry. I am just not happy today. I thought id share. Lol I hope all of you have a wonderful Christmas and enjoy your families.
