Try a rescue organization first. I think his breed might decrease his chances of a home if he goes to the pound. I know there are some around Paulding County. Poor baby... if I didn't already have two I'd take him.

That's terrible that someone would do that. Someone kept doing that to my neighbor accross the street until she found out where that person lived... she kindly picked it up in a baggy (yet again) and took it back to its owner. She left it on the front step. Never happened again! -

You could check out Chattanooga. There is a lot of stuff to do downtown near the riverfront that is fun for adults & kids. (Creative Discovery museum, the aquarium, etc.) Everything is in walking distance. too. It's really nice down there with all of the work they've done. It's not far at all, either. But, I am a little biased seeing as I am from there
