My neice will only eat noodles. Not any kind of noodle, they must be the thin spaghetti ones. Even while the other kids are eating pizza, she will want her noodles. Nothing on them, either. So, my sister-in-law keeps a tub of them in the fridge tossed with a little EVOO so they won't stick. My neice has to at least try a couple of bites of whatever everyone is eating, and if she still wants noodles then she can have them. Otherwise she won't eat, either. She is really healthy, though, according to her doc.

I'm glad it worked out! I know what you mean about double - had to use that emergency clinic in Marietta once. Sheesh. I hope you and your puppo feel better, and have a Merry Christmas!

There is an emergency vet somewhere... I used to have the card in my wallet that my reg. vet gave me just in case I needed it, but I can't find it anywhere. I know for sure there is one in Marietta, I think on 41. But I am almost certain there is one closer to the Dallas/Hiram area. Maybe toward D'ville... Sorry I can't help any furhter. I hope your little baby gets better soon!

Batteries have gotten so expensive. BUT, we have found in the past that Home Depot actually has the big packs for really good prices. They are almost always cheaper than anywhere else. With that said, we bough so many a couple of months ago that we haven't had to price any recently. Although, we don't belong to Sam's so that may be a better deal.

unless he "forgets".... Mine was to stop and get dog food on the way home. Went to feed the dogs at 9 last night and there was no dog food. Ugh. I had to go to WalMart at 9 last night to get it. And I only went to WalMart so I wouldn't have to get on 278 or 92. No, I am not done. It's killing me. I am always done by now. Gifts bought, wrapped, cookies baked and cakes made. I still have to get one more gift, wrap a couple, but ribbons on all of it, and get it all ready to head out of town. There ain't goin' to be no Christmas cookies this year. Nope. Should of called the bakery and ord

I just wanted to point out that I keep reading this thread title as "My new friend is a droid." Anyway, I have the iphone, but never tried the Droid. I love, love, love my iphone, but I hate, hate, hate AT&T service.

That is so awesome. It made me smile. There was a thread about that here no too long ago. -
And in these times people are thankful to be able to not take Christmas as a holiday. A little time and a half will go a long way for some folks.

You are absolutely right.

I am so sorry to hear this. My prayers are with this family. I lost my grandma on the 20th of December in 2005. It is so hard this time of year.

Thank you! Now I don't have to go ANYWHERE to get it lol!

Merry Christmas to 1Novella! I haven't seen her in a while... Also Happy Holidays to Midget in the political forum! And to Lumak, Merry Christmas and I hope you are healing well!

Usually Christams Eve is like Thanksgiving... so, that means (according to what we had this past Thanksgiving) A spiral ham that my grandma will pull apart, put in a gallon size Ziploc bag, and put in the microwave (yea, I didn't eat any of that) Part of a turkey that my aunt will bring; the majority of it will still be at her house b/c she didn't want to share it so there won't be enough for all of us rolls deviled eggs veggie tray cheese tray So totally not looking forward to that meal (which used to be sooooo good) My bother and I will probably just stick to Miller Lite.

I like the name! I like Michael, too lol. We had a badly injured stray cat show up at our office a couple of years ago. He had a nasty open wound on his neck and it was very infected. So, the office adopted him and made arrangements to take him to the vet but no one could think of a name. I had to have one to get him in the vet so I called him Fred. Every time we called to check on "Fred", the ladies at the vet giggled. We all did. I loved the name Fred.

The last couple of years I noticed they bring it back at Christmas. But, I do not go to the mall anymore during the holiday season except if it's on Black Friday. Unless.... I wonder if they have brought it back year round? It has been so long since I have been there that I wouldn't know for sure. I will have to check it out. Thanks for letting me know!

Yep. One can of Vienna sausages on the smoker equals one redneck.
