No, that's a southern thing. In TN we called everything coke, even Pepsi. I remember going to visit my aunts & uncles in northern Ohio and asking my aunt charlotte if she had any cokes when I was a kid. She said, no but I have pepsi and dr. pepper. Dr. Pepper is really what I wanted.

Yessssssssssssssssssss! I am thankful for a roof over my head, food in my belly, wonderful friends (old and new as well), and this little peanut on the way. Oh, and my husband, too.

Actually, it is my birthday. My birthday is December 25th. I am the first to admit that I HATE crowds, but I do love to go shopping on Black Friday whether i get anything or not. It is fun and it is the one time a year I spend an entire, fun day with my mother-in-law and the only day a year I spend with my sister-in-law. I love to go. For me it is more than the deals. It is "team building" and quality time. lol The three of us sit around after Thanksgiving dinner and map out our shopping plan, then implement it starting at about 3am on Friday.

There's a lot of people that haven't been on here in months if not a year or so. 1Novella hasn't posted in about a year I think, other than a couple here and there. I rarely see SoapMom, Tess, and there are more I am sure but I can't think right now. I think all the hits are not people posting.

I love this show! I have a feeling Shane didn't tell Lori becuase he was too coward to rescue his friend, or even try to. So I think he just told her that. I think something along those lines will come out later on. I haven't seen last night's show yet, but I plan on it tonight.

In my Teaching Lit class (for middle grades) I had to read a lot of YA books. I didn't read this but I almost did. I heard it was a really good book. Thanks for the reminder - I haven't thought of this book in years.

I read that a couple of months ago. I didn't even know it was a young adult novel until after I was finished with it. Kindle recommended it so I don't have a copy to let you borrow. Sorry!! Anyway, it's not bad, and kept my interest, but it wasn't awesome.
