Three Dog Night is one of my favorites and Pieces of April is my favorite song that they do.

I was hoping they were getting ready to put in passing lanes because I'm fed up with getting behind people that can't talk on their cell phones and drive the speed limit at the same time.

I just can't wait until I get those flowers and chocolates that I hear about in the grocery store commercial - NOT!! I agree about the little things during the year proving that they think about you and care enough to pay attention to the things that you like.

I would say her actions sound human and normal after having a baby and dealing with lack of sleep. Sounds like they are dealing with it now. There is nothing wrong with her asking for advice from people that have been through it.

I'm going to try and explain without sounding too dumb. A couple with three children decided they wanted to have one more and they had five (I think) embryos left at the fertility clinic. Their last pregnancy was really difficult for the mother but it was successful. This would be their last time because she was 42 I think. She became pregnant but found out she had been given someone else's embryo. They decided to carry the baby hoping that they would be allowed to keep it as their own but the other couple decided that it was their baby. She decided to find a surrogate to have one more chi

My family doesn't like pork as much as I do so we don't have it often, but yours sounds really good. Beef and beer - can't go wrong.

Beef stew that is - got it in the crockpot and it smells pretty darn good.

Just try and remember that having a baby does a job on your body, your hormones and your emotions. Add to that the stress being complete exhausted from not getting enough sleep but still having to get up whenever your baby needs you. It will get better - I promise you.

I'm really sorry you're having such a hard time right now. I have a feeling you are a very strong person. If you have friends or family close by maybe they can come over for a while this weekend and let you get some rest. I'll be sending good thoughts your way.

That's a long way to drive and then have to go through all that especially since you had a reservation, momof3. I've gone by there several times since my son and his family live in Monroe, but have never eaten there.

The only time I can take hot weather is if I'm where I can feel an ocean breeze. Hot Georgia summers are rough.

I wonder what the "younguns" will be saying 20 years from now about the "good ole days". Wonder what kind of changes will be made between now and then. How many jets will be flying in and out of the airport, how many manufacturing companies will be doing business here, how prosperous will the county be? Or, how many more homes will be foreclosed on and still be sitting empty, unfinished subdivisions, empty school buildings, closed down grocery stores? Sorry, maybe this should be a separate thread. It kind of spoils the feel-good feeling of nostalgia doesn't it.

I started a thread about this the other day and I don't think anyone responded. From what has been said about the movie it doesn't sound favorable to Amanda and I am surprised they would tell the story in that light and I hope it does not hurt her case. I would rather see a story about her and her family's struggles throughout this whole thing, I guess because I just don't think she did it.
