  1. my parents lived on Pennsylvania Ave in Mont Pleasant when I was born. We then moved to Dewitt St. I was just a kid when we moved down here in the early 80's so I don't remember much. The last time I was up there was in 94. I got my first ever glimpse of what I assumed was mobsters hanging out on the street. I was told not to make eye contact.
  2. Yikes! I'm from Schenectady. I knew it went downhill, but not to that extent. Going to Google...
  3. Yes, they do. I always order nachos. I love em!
  4. I totally agree. Tell you what, having a 15-year-old daughter is very scary these days. I am extremely disturbed by this story.
  5. Smothered Steak & onions (Paula Deens recipe), roasted asparagus, brown rice and rolls.
  6. LOL! That made me laugh, and I actually like Oprah. Adding Madonna to the list.
  7. I believe someone actually admitted to it in this thread. We, as a small business, are looking to hire new employees for the first time ever in the spring. 2012 was our most profitable year yet. My BIL got a good job with CSX. 2 of my closest friends got big promotions. My daughters uncle is a builder, he is turning down work at this point, as is my husband. I find that my friends who were living beyond their means to begin with are the most upset with Obama. At some point you have to be responsible for your own economy and stop relying on (or blaming) the government for jobs and stabili
  8. Lets face it, the patriot conservatives would rather have the country go to shiit than admit things are getting better under Obamas watch. They WANT him to fail. It's sad.
  9. Of course there is! and stop calling me Shirley.
  10. Awesome post!!!!! Very well said, I couldn't agree with you more.
  11. I can't believe you just said that! I am so angry at you right now!
  12. I can't figure out why anyone would make a big deal over that. Yeesh. I'm dying to see this movie, BTW. I'm not huge Tarantino fan, but this one peaks my interest.
  13. In my opinion, 3 weeks Is way too long to have a visitor in my home. Even if it were my mother, I would go nuts! If it were my mother-in-law, I would probably die. Problem solved. I think you should have a talk with your mother and let her know how your husband feels. It's probably not that he doesn't like her, he probably just feels uncomfortable having someone in his home for so long. I know I would. That's just me.
  14. Kanye is definitely a douche bag, but I'm happy for them. I do feel bad for Chloe, if she is still trying to have a baby. I know how that feels. My sister got pregnant three times in the time I tried to get pregnant once.
  15. I hate to add even more bad news and chaos to this thread, but word on the street is that FREDS closed.
  16. I chunked mine over the back fence. Chucked? Either way, it's gone.
  17. Chicken & dumps, roasted Brussel sprouts and something else.
  18. A nap? It's 8:21, That's called bedtime. My dinner turned out wonderful as well. I can't wait to try the Pioneer woman scalloped potatoes!
  19. I've never seen Top Gun. ET is a good movie, but it makes me too sad. I don't like watching it. I've also never seen Fast Times at Ridgemont high.
