Not actually sure. We are little miffed about the whole thing which is a long story. The short story, she was one of our neighbors that we have zero contact with. We will be monitoring future occurrences. That's all I can say today. Thanks for everyone's concern. Happy Holidays!

Well good news. She found her owner. Yeah!

Ok PAC notified, next up a good bath. I will post a new picture when she is cleaned up.
-
We will be calling animal control to say have her, but based on her condition, I would be shocked if someone called on her. She hasn't been groomed in some time. She is a lover. Well behaved, my guess between 5-7 years old.

Ok, she is real sweet, dirty and tired. Obviously someone dumped her or she has been lost for a little bit. Will be taking her to get Monday for chip checking. A bath will be in the works too. Our two dogs are being nice so far. Will be looking for a home next week. Have not had time to post.

Found this one wandering in Creekside. We were in a hurry, thus not even sure boy/girl. Real sweet. If you recognize please call 770-367-3363.

Check out the Allrecipes App for similar easy recipes. They have some great stuff. Bottom line, gotta have leftovers.

I would cook as soon as I woke up, a small Turkey so you have leftovers, then go out to a movie and dinner. Love the smell in the morning while reading the paper.

City of Dallas raising taxes by more than 11% AIRPORT NEEDS MORE MONEY
bigplay replied to WHITEY's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Surprise surprise, I will side with Whitey on one aspect and try and clear up a difference. First the difference, I cannot find anywhere where the Airport guys and the commercial guys talk about 1,000,000 passengers, but they do mention 1,000,000 people live in close proximity. Now for McCollum, they have between 800-1,000 people employed there and their economic impact is between $100,000,000-125,000,000. The facts are a little old, but straight from the McCollum website. http://www.cobbcounty.org/images/documents/dot/mccollum/georgia_airports_2011state-eis-cobbcounty-mccollumfi -

Whitey, why do you say such things. One million passengers a year. Ok, let's do the math, assuming an average plane load of 100 passengers, that requires 10,000 flights per year or 27 flights per day. Not gonna happen. But since you want to keep the airport small, let's copy the McCollum business plan. They only have about 65,000 landings and take offs per year. Oops, that sounds like a lot of noise. I think you might want to rethink your desires with regard to the airport. A new McCollum or a simple commercial charter plan that has between 6-20 take offs a week, while the bala -

If I am correct, Hiram grew prior to the Austin boys taking office, thus someone else blew it. Also, sounds to me you should be mad at the city of Dallas officials prior to the Austin boys. Let me guess Whitey, you probably complained when prohibition ended because your still was not worth as much. Sure you have the right to voice your opinion, but seems to me you are a few years late in complaining about the source of your high taxes in a Dallas. -
City of Dallas raising taxes by more than 11% AIRPORT NEEDS MORE MONEY

What I find quite weird is the seemingly lack of development west of 61, other than Rockmart. I know the city of Dallas has been pumping a good bit of money in the downtown area, which I would hope came from federal grants for renovating older buildings, but there has been very little other activity along the 278 corridor. Don't get me wrong, the traffic stinks, but if the Austin boys really want this airport to succeed, they would bring people closer to their pet project. Increasing the awareness of their pet project may bring more business. Thankfully Whitey and friends keep the airport -

Well, the expansion of the sewer in that direction also increases the potential recruitment of other business thus the airport may receive a benefit, but unless the city leaders are stupid ( I won't answer that one) you should see future development along the sewer path. Seems logical to me to extend the sewer lines for future development. If the bond market was ripe for offerings then why not. -

Ok, call me confused. If the IBA issued the bonds then aren't they required to cover the debt service. I really don't understand the issue. If the bonds covered the expansion and the IBA has the debt. What costs is incurred by the city. -

Kind of thought so. Maybe the Dallas residents should tell the Austin boys they want an Outback, Red Lobster, etc. then maybe their property taxes won't go up. -

Since I don't read the Dallas New Era, how is this mileage increase associated with the Airport? -

Well, this just came out. I guess our school systems can pay for great websites and such, but are lacking in other areas. http://www.ajc.com/news/news/local-education/georgia-education-system-gets-poor-marks-in-nation/nhLgB/
