Congrats to the winners! As for the future of Paulding county, I don't know the new Chairman, but I hope he finds a way to minimize the input from the few loud residents and push Paulding into a direction pf prosperity. Does that mean a commercial airport, I don't know. I do know one thing, the county leadership needs to find a way to convince the city of Dallas that growth is good. To be truthful, if you call the hospital and negotiate, you maybe able to pay something close that. Hospitals do not want a bad debt, but don't forget, it was choice to go uninsured so not much sympathy here. I know, I can't afford it, sorry. My message to my son and his friends. Not sure where I stand on the expansion issue. Why, we have too many common crooks in our society that feel they are privileged and think think the government should take care of them. To be truthful, every single patient who is non-Medicare and non-Medicaid has been impacted by cost shifting. It's pretty simple, government programs except Champus/Tricare do not pay enough to cover the cost of services. Then you add in bad debt and someone gets stuck. Yep us, the commercially insured.
