  1. Win 10 is even better when you use classic shell to fix the start button and get rid of the stupid tiles. I mean you don't have to use it but it makes it feel just like good old 7 with all the win 10 advantages.
  2. So I discovered I can get AT&T's Uverse GigaPower at my house now which offers up to 1Gbp speed up and down for $70 a month, price locked for 3 years. But before I jump on this I wondered if anyone else has yet. I'm not a huge fan of ATT but I have no love for Comcast either. Oh and the data cap is 1 terabyte a month which also got my attention. I read a few horror stories online about GigaPower but it was other states and over a year ago. So not wanting to be a guinea pig I wanted to ask around.
  3. I think we had a HOA at one time or at least a homeowners covenant which I would think would still be in effect. (do those expire?) Was a new subdivision, well about 14 years old now.
  4. Well, this is not a private drive. Years ago I parked a car on this street and was asked to move it by a paulding county deputy. Didn't give me a reason just said move it or else. Needless to say, I complied.
  5. I noticed a neighbor is now parking a semi in front of his house on the street (half in his yard) in my neighborhood. I'm pretty sure that's not legal. I wanted to get some answers before I decide to be "the guy" and make a complaint. I don't like this guy, if I approach him about it, it won't end well. But if this is in fact very illegal I will make the call. This is a subdivision in Dallas but not in the city limits.
  6. This house is future proofed for your flying car needs.
  7. It's a hard to get in and out of shopping center. The only real safe way is down by the Racetrack if you are trying to go right on to 278. Jumping on to 92 is at your own peril.
  8. Heck yeah, screw the airport get us google fiber!
  9. They still have the Provino's at Town Center. Not sure what happened in D'ville, might have been a lease thing or something. Not sure if they relocated or not.
  10. I heard they closed the Provino's in Douglasville. I would love a Provino's in Paulding.
  11. I second that. Denny's is nasty.
  12. I'm not impressed with Olive Tree. We had a great Italian place that closed because of some shady stuff that was next to the Hooters. We need that kinda join again, heck I'd even settle for a Olive Garden at this point.
  13. Would be a great spot for a Italian restaurant or anything else as long as its not a Applebee's style crapfest.
  14. I'm guessing you are asking about something that acts as a DVR. Tivo is what you might be looking for. Also if you cancelled dish does that mean he would be recording over the air (OTA) or though comcast? Comcast has a DVR you can rent. OTA you would want something more like a Tivo and there might be something out there that is subscription free. did a quick search and found. http://www.channelmaster.com/Antenna_DVR_s/336.htm?Click=45866 Little bit of googling and there are free options out there after the cost of the hardware.
  15. Well the Hardee's has a sign now saying that they will be opening this coming Friday at 6am. Woot no more martins line to wait in for cheap greasy breakfast.
  16. Black Whopper.. heh sounds like a bad porn title. I checked out the prices and that Japanese place seems a tad pricey for what you get. Don't think its going to do well to be honest.
  17. Well that just sucks. We need more mom and pop places and less chains to dine at. Our pizza options are getting pretty thin. Well for good pizza that doesn't cost a arm and a leg like say Mellow Mushroom.
  18. Does anyone know what is going on with Sals Pizza? I called over a month ago and got a recording that they were remodeling, I went by there today and I don't see any signs saying what is going on. I'm just wondering if they packed it up and called it quits or what.
  19. I was wrong its $868 in repairs for a waiver.
  20. Nope, you have to fix the car. Not what you want to hear but that is the law. There is a waiver limit, but its like over $862 in repairs that is directly related to the emissions. And you cant just make it up, they check.
  21. its like a spider and a scorpion got jiggy with it. Time for it to meet a shoe.
  22. http://www.wsbtv.com/news/news/local/3-people-hit-car-paulding-county/nkxGm/ has a pic of the car
  23. I couldn't find any model or serial numbers anywhere on the glass / frame, etc. House was built in 2002 and I'm sure they are the cheapest windows the builder could get away with.
