I dont agree with the being in the pocket thing. I get in and out of my truck a lot for work with my hands full and I need my phone on me at all times away from my truck. It is in a holster in my pocket if that matters.

It was a seafood place across from Capt. D's next to KFC. Still has a lease or buy sign up so I'm guessing they are just trying to fix up the property to get a tenant.

Lidl is Aldi's direct competitor in Europe. Same style of store but they tend to sell more housewares type stuff.

I saw they were cleaning the place up and repainted it. Anybody know if someone bought or leased that property?

It will need a drive thru but I'm not sure how that could work.

A Burger king could work there. Or even a Domino's or Papa Johns.

Now if somebody would takeover the old Mrs. Winners / closed seafood place, that place is a eyesore.

I noticed the leasing sign is now missing from in front of the closed Yamato's, does anyone know if it is been leased or bought out? It would be nice to have less vacant buildings just sitting around here. We got the Huddle house being used now it would be great if the old seafood place got cleaned up. I think a small BBQ joint would work around here, but I'd take anything besides car lots or title loan scammers opening up.

I try to skip the botulism in a box at the gas stations but the kroger stuff is made fresh each day so I'll take my chances. It beats paying $20-$30 for a few rolls plus tip. It is better grade than buffet sushi but lower grade than some of the high end joints. It scratches a itch without breaking the wallet.

The Kroger at Nathan Dean has a sign up in the deli that they are getting a sushi station finally. I know a lot of folks won't care but I for one am down for a cheap sushi fix from time to time.

Heck if it saves me money I'm all for it. I love the fact Lidl will be across the street from Aldl. Once I figure out which store has the best of what I like to buy I can go hit up both and get my shopping done for the week. As of now I have to hit Kroger and sometimes Ingles to finish up my shopping for the odds and ends Aldi doesn't carry. When ever hell freezes over I shop at Walmart.
