First as I stated I have a right to my opinion without backbiting. Asking me to provide my credentials to substantiate my opinion is simply stirring the pot. My "credentials" is a taxpaying resident of this county. Just because someone has the power of decision making doesnt make them right. If the Airport was going to provide revenue why hasnt it already? Expanding to commercial flights is going to change that? Look at any area where there is a commercial airport and tell me that the area surrounding it is a place people flock to live in. I dont in any way have all the answers. I just belie

We all have a right to our opinion without backbiting. I am all for commercial growth here in Paulding county but the airport is not it. I personally would leave the county if that happened and I dont think I would be the only one. The way this has been handled has not been on the up and up from the beginning and that is suspicious. Yes there would be jobs from the construction and personnel to run it but still not worth it. The decay to the area surrounding the airport that will occur is not worth it. There are better ways. I am really sorry!! These things are always hardest on the people left behind. Its not just death either. Ending a marriage for some is just as hard when its not your choice. Believe it or not what you did by dividing things up and clearing out puts a period on it. Kinda will give you some piece of mind you didnt have before. Enjoy the memories from the things you have. I am doing ok. The bus accident has unfortunately undone alot of healing I had managed with my back but I am not going to let it get to me. I have gotten better at stepping back and not putting everyone else's needs before mine. Long overdue I know. Maybe we could squeeze lunch in sometimes
