But, here I am with a better job working with a small and tight group drivers. With better pay and a Director and Asst. Director of Transportation that are wonderful to work for. The schools back up the drivers and help with any problems the students. Plus a members of Transportation (They are called Cluster Leaders) at each school to also help the drivers with problem students. I am happy and Blessed. 11. Bingo!!! There used to be several choices as far as what insurance carrier to use and what type of coverage you could afford. Now there is only one choice of plan and carrier with no co-pay and out of pocket expense that is beyond what I can afford to pay. That (IMO) is not healthcare reform its a racket because since I have insurance available through my employer I cant go through the market place for coverage I can afford.
  12. I have a problem with my computer screen. It started out as a little spot at the top of the screen now its spread out covering a good portion of the top of the screen and running down and up the side. Kinda looks like a green tornado. I have the worst luck with computers. :::sigh:::
  13. LOL!! I was worried you thought I was misleading you in someway!!! I am so happy I have found another job too!!! :yahoo: For a while there I didnt think I was ever going to find another one. This is a really great place to work. I am really happy here.
  14. I had insurance until my job loss. It was only when I went to Human Resources to sign all the paper work and go over my benefits for my new job that I found out about the coverage from before I lost my job I could continue until December of this year. I havent had any insurance since Feb 2013. My insurance with my new job doesnt start until November 2013 thats 8 months with no insurance coverage at all. I was never told at any time except when I was going over the benefits that I found out I could have kept the insurance I had before the job loss. Not COBRA but the same premiums as when I was
  15. I thought COBRA was the only option I had as well and was really surprised when I was told about being able to use the same plan until the end of December. This is part of the Healrhcare plan that came into effect that allows a person to keep the same coverage at the same cost. Thats why is was trying to find out if I could keep it longer than the end of December instead of switching to the Blue Cross/Blue Shield plan. I am excited about my job as well!! I am really happy working for this school system!! There are alot of changes coming down the pipe this year from what I understand.
  16. I am so sorry!! You were lucky to be able to hold them and comfort them when they passed. I lost one of my furbabies as well and wish I had been able to hold him when he passed. I will keep you in my prayers. HUGS!!!
  17. I hope so because we are one of the families that affected by this. My two grandchildren are what I worry about more than myself.
  18. Thank You!. This will take some time to get use to. With me I have had back surgery and need pain management and cost to see the Dr. for it is 120.00 a visit. Which is why I am trying to understand how this insurance works. Also the fact the medications will not have a co-pay. The premiums are considerably lower so I will use those saving toward the out of pocket expense. I will take advantage of being able to use the previous insurance with the co-pay.
