  1. I'll second Dr. Carmen - My one and only RC so far, but it was as good an experience as a root canal can be. His office is off Mulkey Rd in austell http://www.westatlantaendo.com/austell-ga-endodontic-surgeon/endodontic-surgeon-dr-carman.html
  2. Looks like Cajuns Cookin is moving - Love it. http://paulding.com/forum/index.php/topic/282095-cajun-cookin/page__p__3575487__hl__cajun__fromsearch__1#entry3575487
  3. I have no particular affinity for incandescent bulbs - but for now, they are the only reasonable priced dimmable solution that I'm aware of. Every fixture in our house save for garage and closets are on dimmers.
  4. Completely agree - While I did enjoy my buffalo sandwich, The fries were forgettable (some even bad). Might need a little something extra to warrant the trip into/out of awkward location.
  5. from paulding.gov - looks like only incorporated dallas and hiram: http://paulding.gov/Calendar.aspx?EID=324 and http://paulding.gov/DocumentView.aspx?DID=947
  6. http://www.atlantatimemachine.com/ As my office is downtown, I enjoyed looking at all the old Atlanta photos here and comparing to today. Many were before my time, but interesting to see the Atlanta that my parents and grandparents knew.
  7. Were headed down to pcb as well on Saturday. Not excited at all about the current system brewing in the gulf. Hopefully will clear up later in the week.
  8. I remember taking a similar inert grenade to show and tell in the 80's - imagine how that would go over in today's zero tolerance atmosphere
  9. just wanted to refresh this topic to see if anyone else has had recent ATT signal issues. I'm near white oak park area. Can't pinpoint when it started, but recently, signal seems very weak. Iphone goes between 1-2 bar 3G, to Edge, to No service at times. Trying to decide if it's a hardware issue that needs Apple support, or carrier signal issues.
  10. Leftover kabobs, but I'm not complaining
  11. Nice - I'm a fan of this one as well.. http://www.wunderground.com/auto/wxmap/GA/Dallas.html Click the radar option and the play button near top center for animation.
  12. I went to this Dallas branch adjacent to Sara Babb Park. http://www.wgrl.net/Branches/Dallas/PCPL.htm No guarantees that it would be in stock - they would probably still let someone check the DVD out for home viewing if requested, though I was happy to watch there when asked, given the premise of availability.
  13. FYI, In an effort to make this more available, library @ sara babb is trying to keep the DVD in house, letting you watch on their TV and printing the tickets when complete. I'm watching right now
  14. I just pulled up the IPB app again, and they look identical to the screenshots. according to this: http://www.ipbcustomize.com/topic/3911-ips-introduces-iphone-app-for-ip-board-communities/ "When you visit the community, you will see that it uses the standard IP.Board mobile skin available standard in the platform" The IPB board app is using a built-in IPBoard Mobile skin, that maybe the Droid and DallasNebo were able to access directly without the app? I am unable to replicate using any browser, and am unable to select a mobile skin in the selection box.
  15. link for the iphone ip boards app - though honestly, I think i prefer browsing the forums natively in safari or atomic browser (can open multiple tabs, less limited functionality, etc..). http://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/ip-board-communities/id372597645?mt=8
  16. I just found the invision power app that will allow access to certain IP Boards if the forums are configured to allow. Posting from the app now.
  17. Just wanted to echo my satisfaction with Twins Septic and Plumbing. An abnormally high water bill this month led me to check my water meter, which was to my surprise and dismay, full to the brim with water. Twins came out and quickly found the leaking connection between the meter and my irrigation system. Was fixed in a flash, and without breaking the bank. Will be my first call when it comes time for septic cleaning in the spring.
  18. Anyone know Charlie's hours? Tried to go by at 9:30 this morning, but they weren't open. Ended up eating at Joan's instead. On the way out, Charlies still looked closed.
  19. I'm a longtime Wach customer, but nothing appears different for me yet (Everything is still branded Wachovia, with small mention of being a wells fargo company). I use quicken, and account for the funds being gone as soon as the check/payment is issued, so conceptually this will not affect me. My problem is - where are the funds while the "check" is enroute to the recipient? What if they never receive it, or lose it, or mistakenly throw it away because the envelope looks like junkmail? The old method was just like issuing a paper check. If it was never cashed - the funds were never

my comcast viewing is exclusively the HD channels. For the past couple months it seems, there has been a tier of HD in the 177-240ish channel range, AND a duplicate lineup in the 800-8## range. Today, the lower range is gone, but I was already used to the new higher lineup that was in line with most other metro atlanta comcast channels (douglasville, cobb). A welcome change looks to be an expanded number of HD premium channels. Before, there was just one HBO HD, STZ HD, MAx HD. Now, there are multiple flavors of each.
  21. T Mobile supports UMA connections. Essentially, your wi-fi/UMA capable device connects to the carriers network/UMA server over the internet/ using your home wi-fi network.
  22. We have straight talk as wife's cell phone, and have no problems with it. Coverage is great, though there is NO ROAMING available - important to keep in mind if you do venture to areas that might not be covered by Verizon's normal area (fringe areas or international). ST service period is 30 days, not a "month". At the end of 30 days, service will stop and needs to be refilled. If you "refill" using a prepaid card at day 28, you've essentially lost 2 days of service. To simplify this and mitigate lost days, I've setup our account to use their auto-refill option on the 30th day using
  23. We haven't been in a while, but ours love wading/swimming in the river/creek at sweetwater creek state park (on leash of course).
  24. Late to this party - I've seen many getting roof repairs in my subdivision from the April Hailstorms. Not knowing what to look for, and with no major obvious issues (leaking/missing shignles), I was oblivious to any problems. Fast forward to today, Got an inspect from a door-to-door roof salesperson today, and of course - "damage" was found. I would be surprised if ANY house they inspected didnt have "damage", but went ahead and opened a claim with our insurance company to have an adjuster inspect. I did sign an agreement with the salesperson for them to repair roof p
