WEIRD! My broom standing in the middle of the floor!

At first, I didn't understand... BUT, now I do. Check THIS out: -
Olive Garden. When you're there, you're family! Actually, I'd like to know myself. The only place I've heard about is Provino's in Douglasville (across the street from Joe's Crab Shack). I heard they are pretty good, though I can't vouche for it. Any others?

There was a lady that had a booth across from ours at the expo on Tuesday that did facepainting. She was VERY good. Her website is kolorfulfaces.com. Hope that helps!

Wow. Not a good place to break a bone. When I was in 8th grade, I went to a football game and met up with a couple of guys from my neighborhood. I assume the score was getting too one-sided or was just getting pretty boring because we all decided to go to the front of the school to play our own game of football (tackle). On one particular play, I was hit and I extended my arm to brace for the fall. As a result, I came straight down on my hand and broke my left wrist. I went to the hospital and had to have both bones reset. The doctor tied an apparatus to his waste that appeared to be

That'll leave a mark.

eh... it's still very odd to say, but I do think I can grasp the pronunciation over time. On an unrelated, yet similar note, my father-in-law (who was born and raised in GA) has been trying to break my "citifide" talk. At the moment, the big point of contention is Dinner/Supper. He says, "Supper is the evening meal and Dinner is what you would call Lunch. Besides, they don't call it The Lord's Dinner; it's The Lord's Supper for a reason!" I disagree. Lunch is lunch. Dinner is dinner. And Supper is a slight mis-spelling of "super" that happens when you type the "P" one too many t

I second that!!! I'm from Texas and have NEVER heard anyone pronounce it Buck-hanan. And, while I am thinking about the name of a city; one city that I do not understand the pronunciation is Louisville (in Kentucky). How in the world is Louisville supposed to read LOO-ih-vuhl or LOO-ee-vil?

I know that I'm late jumping into the conversation, but one thing that always works my nerves is, "I need to go to the A.T.M. Machine." Really? You're telling me that you need to go to the Automatic Teller Machine Machine? Also, in the same realm of irky-ness, many years ago when I was still in junior high, my mother was employed at Toys R Us. They used to put the game systems in an Electronic Display Case. The staff frequently referred to this as the "E.D.C. Case" -- I always heard, "Electronic Display Case Case."

Still no reply to my PM, huh? Just because we were neighbors at the Expo doesn't mean you can leave me hangin'!

From one professional "manipulator" to another... EXCELLENT work.

Star Wars always brings a tear to my eyes.

It appears that I'll be in the booth right next to you! Not sure if I'll visit though.

I missed the last two weeks. I will DEFINITELY be there -- even though it's 1am.

Does anybody know of a 501c3 charity in Paulding?

For flood relief efforts, try Westridge Church. They are doing AMAZING things for the flood relief. For more information, go to: http://www.westridge.com/outreach/share/ou...outreach/flood/ Also... you could try Warehouse of Hope. Their website is at: http://www.warehouseofhope.org/ -
She's gonna have a Chinese baby?

I'm registered! And I'm looking forward to meeting everyone that plans to attend!

I've never been. Of course, I've only been in the ATL area for about 9 months. Then again, I'm more used to the HUGE extravaganza that is the Texas State Fair.

I think I just lost a little more respect for the guy!!!

I understand most everyone here is a homer -- which is not a bad thing, by the way; I'm the same way w/Dallas -- but is anyone watching the game? If so, who's gonna win? Keep in mind, if you say anything other than "Dallas Cowboys" or a variation thereof, I will lose all respect for you and refuse to talk to you. ... until after the game.

... only a few more hours to go!

I recommend going to Sam's. As I previously mentioned, I have an HP w/17" screen & Blue Ray/DVD player that I use for my Graphic Design work. EXCELLENT computer, I must say.

No, I haven't, but I did call the Customer Service number on the receipt and they sided w/the store. And, to be completely straight forward, I very much dislike the typical programming that most manufacturers put on the computer. So, when I got the laptop (each time), I removed all of the bloatware from the machines. I'm not new to the inner workings of any computer and, as you may know, 99% -- if not all -- of that extra stuff is just a waste of space. My BIG MISTAKE was actually admitting to the Geek Squad "agent" that I removed the non-relative software from the system. At that po

I bought a Red Dell Studio w/ 17" Screen @ Best Buy. However, I had issues with the speakers -- which had previously been written about on the BB website. Unfortunately, I didn't do my homework, otherwise I wouldn't have purchased it. Anyway, I took it back and was given a new laptop... same issues. This happened 3 times (w/in the 14 day return window). On the third time, I returned it for a refund, and was charged a re-stocking fee of $125. I finally went to Sam's and bought an HP w/ 17" Screen. No problems whatsoever. Moral of the story? RESEARCH, RESEARCH, RESEARCH!
