Due to the subject matter as well as certain posts found in a prevous thread (click for info), I have come to a difficult crossroad. I am beginning to get into the Christmas state-of-mind. As a result, would I lose anyone's respect if I officially broke down and watched Polar Express, Home Alone, Santa Clause or other Christmas movie?

I am DEFINITELY ready for Christmas and I have been since December 30th of last year -- We put an offer on a house on the 7th of Dec and closed on the 29th... so the time in between was pretty stressful so, to me, it didn't have the normal Christmas feel to it. We bought a house at the end of December of last year (when the Tax Credit was only $7500). This credit is an income tax credit so you will not be able to apply it to the 3%. And, you will have to pay back -- for us it is $500/year for 15 years. Edited to Clarify... it will essentially mean that for the next 15 years, whatever the total amount of taxes that you are required to pay, add $500. What about the fact that Vick -- who has a deeply ominous past -- was brought in, after having served a prison term. From what McNabb, who has is own issues, has said he had a heart to heart with Mr. Reid and convinced him to open his heart and give Vick another chance. I was drawn to tears. Wrong soap opera? Mine was PrchMan501. It was supposed to refer to "Preacher Man", but I frequently got a lot of "Perch Man". And, if I remember correctly, the 501 was referring to the jeans (even though I've never had any).

So, I went to the Meeting @ Steak & Shake in Hiram for the first time this morning. Although I didn't have a clue what to expect and, more to the point, I didn't interact very much with anyone (I observed more than anything), I've got to tell you that it was very good to actually see various business owners/reps get together in one place to develop relationships that extends beyond their areas of expertise. I am sure this was the reason why these meetings were originally set up in the first place. I assume I am correct with stating this (correct me if I'm wrong), but thank you, Dawning!

I am very sarcastic, as well. And I don't use "LOL" or "ROFL" very much, either. Add my sarcasm with my very dry sense of humor... multiply that with the various ways certain posts can be read (especially without my using any of the popular acronyms) and I think that puts me in a group along with the most evil people of the world! eh, I guess I can live with that.
