  1. YES, you need to come! You won't believe the difference!!!!!! Today another group of folks from Grace Pointe & West Ridge came, as well as, jlh10101 and finished painting displays, bathrooms, shelves (which are BEAUTIFUL!!!!! Thanks to the cabinet maker!!!) They hung up dry erase and bulletin boards, fixed a multitude of things.... went through and organized some donations for the shoppe.. picked up clothes racks that are on loan.... pressure washed the front of the building... delivered the puppet stage.... built a sign frame for the roadway..... they were busy, busy..... and willing to
  2. She told me she has put things in storage and is looking at a couple of other locations and may just possibly have a consignment sale....
  3. Members from Grace Pointe and West Ridge came throughout the day to work in our office for Taylor's P.A.L.S.! Shelves were built.... a multitude of shelves were painted.... the thrift store was painted.... windows were scraped and cleaned.... the storage room was painted and cleaned.... a bathroom was painted.... decision started about building a sign for the road.... a desk repaired....stuff cleaned out....needs list and to do list for tomorrow's projects.... including a puppet stage! I am soooo excited and want to thank again all of those who came for your time and help! I appreciate it

  6. You might try a trip training schedule. If you can monitor and keep a chart of what time you think he's going everyday, you will probably find that he has his own schedule. Once you determine when those times are... take him right before that time and let him sit. The odds increase that he'll start going at least one of those times and that will lead to more. Also, the M&M's are a great idea... just make sure it's a reward that he can't have ANY other time... it defeats the purpose and the reward needs to be highly motivating.

  15. We'll be having a skating party at Sparkles on the 21st from 6:30-9:00. The total price will be $6.00... free for non-skating parents. This includes skate rental, skating, playzone, a game of lazor tag, and if tickets are purchased in advance... you also get 8 free arcade tokens.. plus, you'll be helping us to help special needs children!
  16. We were there last night and will be today, too... it was so much fun and the music was GREAT! We met many nice folks and saw a lot of old friends, too!
  17. We loved it... went through it twice... would definately go back! We drove our own vehicle through it..except for a few tongue licks on the windshield, it was fine and it was pretty exciting watching a couple of them slobber all over the truck! LOL
  18. We are a new organization that's gearing up to start a lot of new programs and services in Paulding to help special needs kids and their families. We are also Paulding's Navigator Team leaders for Parent to Parent of Georgia. We will be opening a thrift store the 2nd weekend in August, but are accepting donations of all kinds (except large furniture and appliances) now. We will also be offering a community based tutoring program based on a sliding scale... if parents can't afford tutoring, we hope to have grant money to pay teachers to tutor them anyway.
