Hubby and I went yesterday and voted. In and out in about 7 minutes. After the two to two and a half hour wait in the early voting we did back in 2008 in the Presidential election we both swore we would never again go early. This was much, much better.

It's rare that we turn on the air before June. We did last year and didn't turn it off until something like October. But then again, we don't ever have $300 electric bills.

I also remember 1978 when there was snow on the ground on something like March 17 or 18. It was about a week before we got married. And in 1983, it snowed in mid to late March. I started a new job and the first day there was snow in the parking lot.

The blizzard wasn't in 1999. My daughter graduated from high school in 1999. The blizzard was when she was in middle school. I'm wanting to say maybe 1993. Poor kid had broken her thumb and was due to go back to get a second cast on Monday after the blizzard. She fell on the ice coming out of the doctor's office and bruised herself up pretty bad. OH yes, the MRI was very conclusive. He does NOT have a herniated disk. He does have degenerative disk disease, spinal stenosis and osteoarthritis of the spine. NONE are helped, generally, by nerve blocks since the pain is not nerve related. He was treated with pain meds and muscle relaxers but he didn't like the way he felt while on them so he stopped. Cold turkey. Really rough week to ten days with withdrawal but since that time he has taken an occasional pain pill and/or muscle relaxer when it gets bad. Hubby has had an epidural, a facet joint block and another type of block, none provided any pain relief. His pain is not coming from a ruptured disk so nerve blocks have basically no effect on the pain. At this time, he is not a candidate for surgery either. There is no guarantee surgery would give pain relief.

I believe this was the real estate agent who said that.

That answers the burning question of "is that station open or closed". So now I will have an OPEN convenience store to look at out the window. Cool.

Really hoping and praying that you get some relief from the nerve block. I've talked to people who had great success with them. My hubby did not, but his pain is caused by something that nerve blocks traditionally do not help.

I went to high school with a girl who was the oldest of 5. Four girls and then FINALLY while my friend was in high school (junior or senior year), her parents had the son they wanted. In the absence of two loving, stable or functional parents, one is very often the best solution for the children. If neither parent respects the other, that is also detrimental on the children. As a former medical transcriptionist, I can attest to the fact that often doctors would dictate the office note and I'd have no clue who they were dictating on. One doctor in particular was bad about that and since he did not dictate in the same order in which he saw the patients, that could be tricky at times. "Identifying" the patient with the information would probably only work with people who knew what was going on with the patient. And IMO HIPAA is pointless in the doctor's office. Personally, I believe children do better in a household of happy people whether that is a husband/father and wife/mother or just a mother or just a father or even a gay couple. Stress, anger toward the other adult in the household, fights, arguments, etc are not good for kids. I actually get upset when people tell me they are staying together for the good of the kids. Bull. OTC stuff called Nu-Skin IS Super Glue. After my hysterectomy, the doctor used a dissoluble glue instead of stitches. That worked so much better than stitches, too.

They did the sewer line and tap-on for my mom in SMYRNA. They were very reasonable and she was very, very happy with the work they did. Glad to hear they haven't changed and still are making customers happy.

Actually, I can see a need for it. If Nurse A is at the nurse's station and Doctor B is at the patient's bedside but Doctor B needs Nurse A for something in the patient's room, I can see sending a text. Or perhaps the doctor or nurse needs to notify xray or lab about something. I just wish the last time I was in the hospital the doctor had gotten her orders to the kitchen BEFORE I was discharged. My guess is the hospital IT department knows how to use this already. Might not hurt to mention it to them but be prepared for righteous indignation at your suggestion that they don't know what they're doing. IT guys can be really possessive of IT stuff and many don't think the average person knows IT from **IT.

Looking for the court records in Cobb wouldn't be much help if the case was sent to drug court. I have yet to find any of those records and believe me, I've looked.
