Life flight and rescue vehicles in Powder Springs
Mama Carol replied to November Rain's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I drove by there on Friday evening. If I hadn't known which house burned, I could not have be able to tell. The door was boarded up but otherwise, it really didn't look bad. Most of the fire must have been on the side toward the railroad tracks. -
The European team played very well today! Hats off to them. Love me some Graeme McDowell. He's PRETTY!

Bubba was already finished when I got home and apparently my hubby wasn't watching!!
-
Still praying for her Glenn. Keep us updated as you can. We know you have a lot going on right now.

Nope, not true. Might be some unemployment but likely there would just be fewer people entering the field and it would even out. Bankruptcy for companies that manufacture? Manufacture WHAT? Pills? If so, good! Let 'em go bankrupt. And if they did go bankrupt we, as a country MIGHT have healthier citizens. At least if a displaced healthcare worker was asking if you wanted fries with that, they likely would have compassion in doing so and would sincerely want to help. "Healthier" living does not equate to job loss for healthcare workers. The body still malfunctions regardless

Bubba should be nearing the finish when I get back home from my weekly visit with the grandbabies.

I know what you mean. My kids left after breakfast and I rarely saw them until lunch. Sometimes they just called to say they were having lunch with a neighbor. Sometimes they brought one or more of the neighbor kids over to have lunch with them. I always told them they had to come in when they saw the porch light on. Now I'm afraid for my 32 year old daughter to be out by herself. She carries pepper spray with her and generally her husband and kids are with her but after being assaulted by a neighbor IN FRONT OF THE KIDS I'm not sure how much "protection" that is.

Both of you have my prayers my friend. Keep us posted.

I bet I know who you go to.

Choose which show you watched back in the 60's and 70's

I don't know if you had cable from Smyrna Cable back when it was new and maybe five channels. It went out so often that I kept a screwdriver on top of the TV so I could hook up the antenna and still watch TV. I had to have my shows and my mom HAD to have her "stories". When the cable went out back then it might be WEEKS before it came back on because the ONE technician was so busy he couldn't get to everyone. I remember getting our FIRST color TV. I was in love!! Little Joe wore a green jacket. -

If you feel old, imagine how I feel knowing you were born the year I started dating my husband!! Keep in mind, I was not a child bride. I was in my mid-20s. Yep, do the math. I'll be 58 in a few months. Now I really feel old. You watched these shows in reruns. I watched them when they were new. I remember how exciting it was to get a color TV and be able to see Bonanza in color! -

I always liked the Munsters better than the Addams Family. Always liked the Brady Bunch better than the Partridge Family. Watched all four but liked one better than the other. Loved Bewitched and Jeannie equally. -
They do. Not only that, some companies won't cover you if you don't fall into their ideal weight category (Kaiser comes to mind on this). I have no chronic health conditions that require medication. No high blood pressure, no high cholesterol, no diabetes, no high triglycerides, NOTHING. My one chronic health condition requires regular bleedings like blood donations. No medication for it. In spite of that and the fact that I'm healthy otherwise, because my weight was higher than the maximum one company would allow and cover you, I had a difficult time finding health insurance. When

My oldest and my youngest both battled weight problems. The oldest because she couldn't EVER gain a pound and the youngest because she could never lose a pound. The middle one went back and forth between being rail thin and really heavy. Right now she is heavy. The oldest is still bean pole thin but the youngest is now thinner than she has been since probably 6th grade (maybe even elementary school). I'm big, hubby is big but even when we are "normal" weight we are both still BIG people. We both have a lot of muscles, broad shoulders and hips. That's just who we are. I have a frie

I'll see if his receptionist will snap a picture or two of me with him. I'll need some pictures anyway.
-
Oooooo. I forgot about him!! Yep, he would be difficult to give up even though I will have to when I move. Or else I could schedule an appointment with him when I'm in town.
-
I never get to hold the remote so I wouldn't miss it if there wasn't even one with the TV.
-
Pcom Facebook E-mail OK, just shoot me if I had to give up ANY of those three! Life probably wouldn't be worth living without them.
-
I won't hold it against him that he went to UGA instead of Florida or Florida State or even University of West Florida. Heck, he could have gone to Pensacola State College since it's only a couple of miles from his mom's house! Gotta get a picture of the sign in Bagdad next trip. They put it on the wrong side of the road.
-
Me, too!! I just LOVE Bubba. And Phil. I forgot about Freddie Couples. I love him, too. He's an old guy. Mostly Bubba because he grew up where we're moving!! I mean really, like 2 miles away.

I suspect that passenger side is going to silent for a while now.

No, you would not have to sleep on the floor. The recliner or the sofa maybe but never the floor!

It was interesting enough to suit me, thank you very much!! We have decided against turning the second bedroom into an office and putting something like a queen size bed in there. Does that help you get over being mad at me???
