  1. I got the answer I was looking for. And the issue has been taken care of as well. Thanks anyway.
  2. Thank you!!! I appreciate the info! It helped tremendously.
  3. Pretty sure it's J's Mom. I mainly need someone who can answer a question about HIPAA for me.
  4. I know someone on here works in a medical office. J's Mom, maybe??? I have a question for whoever it is if you would PM me. TIA!
  5. Thanks for the heads up, TBird. I am now an Amazon Prime member. Been thinking about doing it before now but the huge price cut for the weekend made it a deal too good to pass up.
  6. I'm not even in Georgia and don't have Comcast and I've had slow Internet for the past two days. We had a power failure on Monday (I think) and the Internet was slower that day and Tuesday, picked up on Wednesday but has been slow again the last two days.
  7. I don't care for sci-fi anything really but loved the movie. Surprised me that I liked it. Just went because a friend of ours has written a few books about Mars and he wanted to go see the movie. It's a movie I wouldn't mind seeing again. Not because I'm a Matt Damon fan either. He's good, I guess but no big fan of his.
  8. Yep, I know that one. My brother used to live right around the corner from there. I used to shop at the one on Gordon Road (Mableton Parkway) when I lived in Mableton. Then I went to the one on Austell Road. When the one on Bankhead at Thornton opened, I started going there. When the one opened on Brownsville, I went there. I hated to see them close up. My daughter's first job was at the one on Highway 61. One of my biggest "must haves" when we were looking for a house was short distance to a Winn Dixie.
  9. Which Winn Dixie? I am so happy to say I have a W/D 1/4 mile from my house. 1/2 mile round trip over there and back. I LOVE Winn Dixie and always have.
  10. That's when I set the back yard on fire!! Good memories.
  11. OMG! Now I have to clean off my laptop! I just spewed all over it.
  12. To be fair, we have to tell people not to use electric hair dryers in the bathtub, not to put others or themselves in washing machines, not to apply iron on transfers while wearing the shirt, not to hold the chain end of a chain saw. To train people not to rape seems reasonable when you consider the other things you have to remind, or tell, people to do or not to do.
  13. I got my business cards, brochures, flyers and various other advertising materials from them.
  14. That might be the one. Been about three years since I was by there and I don't have anything to look up their name. That sounds right though. We got some really nice cards from them at a pretty decent price.
  15. If you're not opposed to driving to Austell, there is a printer on Humphries Hill Road, just off 278/James Parkway. If they are still there, that is. Can't remember the name right now but you can't miss them. Turn left onto Humphries Hill off 278 and they are on the left before you get to the stop sign.
  16. Hmmm. Ironic that it's Science Fiction Day and the day the tax prep kiosks in places like Walmart and Kmart begin filing tax returns.
  17. Turkey (cooked on the Big Green Egg today), dressing, lima beans, potato salad, cranberry sauce, rolls and pecan pie. Don't know what our company is bringing other than the potato salad. Beer for the guys and peach moscato for the ladies (OK, females).
  18. We never had anything exciting when we were on the square or on Merchants Drive. I hope everyone surrenders without incident or injury to anyone--themselves or the LEOs.
  19. You know, I thought I remembered them doing that and going about 3 a.m. to do my Christmas shopping. My youngest would have been 1 or 2 at the time and she just turned 35. Thank you for posting that. I'm happy to know my long term memory is still good (jury is still out on the short term though).
  20. Many bell ringers are paid. Minimum wage but still, it's a job.
  21. We had bell ringers at the local grocery store before Thanksgiving but I've only seen one there since that. Personally, I've never noticed what they wear. Maybe that's because you see people here with hoodies and the next person you see is wearing shorts and a tank top. I did notice the lady who was there ringing the bell and sitting on a 4 wheeled walker. Damn, she was determined!
  22. I don't remember which one(s) but several have done this in the past. And not the recent past, either.
  23. I haven't had a real tree in probably 20 years. I got tired of having to vacuum up the needles for several weeks after Christmas. I wouldn't even have a tree up at all if my husband hadn't put one up. I'd been happy to have my 8 inch tree on the coffee table.
