It tears you up seeing someone you love suffer like that. I've literally been in tears because of my husbands pain. It hurts me so much to see him suffer. He walks like a 90 year old man at times (and he's only 62). But unlike your husband, mine is not a candidate for surgery.

Need referral for water damage restoration company
Mama Carol replied to Jeanne O'Halleran Law's topic in RECENT TOPICS
We had them give us a quote for mold remediation. It was a bit more than the company we went with but not significantly more. -
I've known people who had both herniated discs and spinal stenosis and all of them have said the spinal stenosis pain was worse than the herniated disc. My mom also had vertebral fractures but she said the stenosis pain was worse than the fracture pain. I'm too chicken to go have my back checked. I know I'm riddled with arthritis back there, from neck down. I don't need xrays to verify it. My thoughts exactly. Unfortunately, that is a side effect of the cortisone.

Need referral for water damage restoration company

Benchmark Restoration in Douglasville. You'll need to Google their number or send me a PM. They did work for us and we were so pleased with the work, I refer them to everyone. They do actual restoration and not just clean up. Now, if you just need clean up, Serv Pro. The one on Humphries Hill Road in Austell. I can get you a contact number for them as well. We had them come out and look at our water leak and they were honest enough to tell us that wasn't something they could do. We had old damage and not an active leak. A lot of companies would have just said "yeah, we can do that" -
It wasn't his first time at that rodeo. That's a sign you have someone who has done that numerous times before. My hubby said the same thing--just a pinch and little pressure.

My husband has spinal stenosis. The epidural didn't help him at all. No benefit. Zero. He was given a trial medial branch block and that did nothing as well. It's mostly because of the type of spinal stenosis that he has. OTOH, I have a cousin who has gotten tremendous benefit from epidurals. Her back pain comes more from degenerative disc disease and not from stenosis. Epidurals have been a lifesaver for her. It just really depends on the source of the pain. Since you said you have bulging discs, the epidural should help that. I've seen good results by people with bulging

They're bigger here, too. A little darker in color usually. Not all gray like most of them up there are.

We had very few squirrels or chipmunks when we had a cat. Been thinking of getting one just for squirrel patrol. No habitat for chipmunks here so we don't have to worry about them.

That's what I thought, too. Not that she would beat it but that she thought she would beat it. I wonder if they had to drop the conspiracy or murder charge because Hemy wouldn't testify. We get limited news about her down here (it's election time in Mobile and that's all they talk about). I wouldn't have even known the trial was going on if it hadn't been for a Yahoo "trending" thingie.

Snakes--all the more reason to live high on a hill away from water. You want some squirrels? Yeah, it will stop raining as soon as we finish paying for all that work we've doing to the house to take care of the water.

I just wish we could figure out how to kill the little suckers without shooting holes in the neighbors houses. We are overrun with squirrels. Seriously overrun. I counted six in the backyard one day with three more on the fence. And we're on a 1/4 acre lot!

There's even a limit on the little rascals.

They should have had her on trial for conspiracy. Glad she got found guilty of something though. That woman is the devil.

How close is this to a wildlife management area or a large piece of vacant land? After all it is squirrel season.

What night is Trick or Treating this year?
Mama Carol replied to juleebella's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I bet we didn't have a dozen total in the last five years. It will be interesting to see what this neighborhood is like. We've been warned that the kids expect a lot because the man who owned the house apparently loved having the trick or treaters and did Halloween up right. -
If those lizards were poisonous, I'd be minus a friend. Since I received an e-mail from him this morning, I'm pretty sure he didn't die when he was 10 and bit a lizard in two.

Fred's closed? Really? I was just there last week (seriously, I was but not in Dallas). -
My philosophy regarding hearing gunshots is if they aren't followed by sirens pretty soon, there is nothing to worry about.

He started it. Once we got to talking about it we decided that since we both had cancer victims in our families and both had lost friends to cancer, we would do something to honor the survivors and memorialize the victims. His hair is prized. It's naturally curly. He said once he talked to a stylist about it, one who was very familiar with Locks of Love, she just about had a fit when she found out his hair is naturally curly. And apparently around 10 inches long from the base of the skull. He's shooting for a whole foot of hair. Me, I'm willing to settle for 10 inches.
-
Our biggest question is can you donate in memory of someone. I've read the website information and it doesn't say. My friend's stylist didn't know. We both know it has to be 10 inches minimum and we're both trying for about 12 inches just to make sure. So has my hubby.

A friend of mine and I are growing our hair for Locks of Love. I would like to message you if you have done that in the past. I knew someone several years ago who did but I no longer have any contact information for her. I have questions that a previous donor would better answer. And yes, I've looked on their website and my friend has talked to a salon but we both still have questions.

I am so happy this was posted. I needed the chuckle! Not only that, I guess I need to start getting ready. Apparently we have a tradition to uphold. The previous owner of this house was VERY generous on Halloween. Darn, guess that means we have to actually turn on the porch light, too. -
At the top of the page, where it says "store", click on that. It will give you several different options. Or PM Pubby. He can help you out.

Looks like folks will have to come back to pcom for news

I contacted a Patch reporter a couple of years ago about doing a follow up on a story my daughter shared with me regarding an incident the Austell police questioned her about as a possible witness since it happened three houses from her on Humphries Hill Road. This happened in downtown Austell. The reporter told me several times about a completely different incident in a completely different area on a completely different day, investigated by a different agency and said this was the same thing. I kept telling her that it wasn't the same incident and even gave her the name of the Austell PD
