FIRST WATER MOCCASIN DEMISE OF THE SEASON.......
feelip replied to lowrider's topic in RECENT TOPICS
The only time I have known of them to attack humans was at Party Cove. It seems that they are attracted to pee. Some girl jumped in to pee and never came up. Her bikini bottoms were found stuck in the teeth of a 12 foot alligator gar that was caught two weeks later. -

As many as I have seen I have never caught one. This time of year you can see them in the shallow water just under the surface. A pair of polarized glasses helps. I have seen some longer than six feet and they have a mouth full of razor sharp teeth. Fortunately they are not aggressive. -

I have killed Cottonmouths as far north as Blue Ridge, GA. I have also killed two in my ponds in Hiram, GA. BTW, I have also killed a boat load of non-poisonous water snakes in my ponds because, quite frankly, I don't like them. But I do know the difference. Maybe you and the DNR should revise your opinions that are based on studies from the 1920's. -

I don't know if you saw this guy but I think he is a cut up. He seems to be a really good guy and he looks like Eddie Murphy in his Buckwheat makeup. I think he was trying to be funny. And he was successful. I thought it was funny as heck. ETA: Robin and the entire crew of GMA cracked up when it was played this morning. -
pfft! He "lost all respect" for me once. Just made my heart ache. No wait..........................................that was gas. So should we add Blue to the long list of pcommers that got mad and took their toys to a new sandbox? Say hello to Ithy and JMT when you get there.

Sorry Glenn but I disagree. Taking care of shareholders (ie: showing profits) is the goal of most major corporations. Employees are just a little north of a dime a dozen. There is always someone waiting to sign up for that job you just walked away from. As for speaking your mind when you leave a job...................... how many potential employers would actually believe a bad report from a former employer? The way I see it, if the former employer is telling me bad things about someone I am looking to hire, that means they don't want me to hire the person and he probably knows t

Back in the 1940s there was an old man in Powder Springs that was a hog farmer / dealer. He would drive his old pick up to south Georgia and buy a load if hogs and bring them back to Powder Springs and sell them. On his way back through Soperton, GA he was cruising along at his typical 20 to 25 miles an hour when a cop pulled him over. Seems that he had been holding up a funeral procession and the cop asked him to either speed up or pull over until they could pass. The old man's only comment was "must have been one mean son of a bitch if they are in that big a hurry to get him in the groun

The determining factor should be whether or not you are good enough at what you do to be able to run your mouth without being black balled. That and part of my job description is being an a$$hole.

Nonsense. Light their asses up! What are the chances you will ever go back? Nothing does the soul good like getting something off your chest. I am not too far from leaving the company I am with and I absolutely plan to let them know that the son is an overgrown, 45 year old titty baby.

I entered a theme for the city contest once in Savannah and was surprised to learn that my submission didn't win. Tell me what you think. My girlfriend said "kiss me where it stinks" so I took her to Savannah.

Judging is not my job here. Neither is giving a truck. Get married and shut the hell up.

My favorite thing about Talledega is that you can crack a beer at 10 in the morning and nobody notices.

Take a camera, just be sure to have a mullet filter. And stay out of the infield. There are people in the infield that think sex is a spectator sport. It is a fun experience and there is a large redneck following, but most of them are good as gold and fun loving people. There will be a few that can't hold their alcohol but it is a more family oriented environment than it was in the 60s through the 80s.

I have never seen so much overkill to accomplish so little. And so many other things that were just plain wrong.

Is this the guy who was exposing himself in Hiram?

Here is the deal that should be made with her. Go home and shut the hell up and we won't extradite you. I think all this is a book tour for her and the media is playing along as usual. BTW, I didn't watch the interview. Dianne Sawyer makes me gag.

Guess who isn't working in her yard any more this year

I grew up fishing in the south Georgia swamps. There were several times we had a Cottonmouth drop in the boat as we went under a low hanging limb. That always made for some excitement but none of us were ever bitten. But regardless of what the DNR says, I have seen and killed a Cottonmouth in a farm pond in Blue Ridge, GA. -
I'm pretty sure I saw one of these going through Hiram the other day. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XBHCb92Tb88

Could he park it over at my house for a couple of days? I need to trim some trees.
