IN the last few years I have come in contact with a few vets that seem to think more highly of themselves than they ought. I was walking out carrying a 40 lb bag of dog food (that I paid $48 for) and he is trying to get me to stop and listen to his pitch. That kind of cute little girl with the sign that says "I just need a little help" almost suckered me in last Friday. I decided to watch her for a few minutes from a distance. She gathered3 or 4 handouts and started walking toward Target. I went in Target with the idea that I would slip her a $20 if she was buying food or clothes. NOPE!
