<<<<<<<yawn>>>>>>>>>> As long as he didn't get railroaded for killing Obama's boy, I don't really care.
-
Depending on how much money. If it is a substantial amount and if the other side has ties to "The Firm"; they better get as far from Paulding as they can get. The lawyers are going to get all the money. They are all in cahoots.
-
I really couldn't care less, but at least the Falcons have a dumb coaching staff and not a bunch of thugs. As far as I'm concerned, the NFL has gone the way of the NBA. Even though they still have some halfway intelligible players at the key positions (quarterback), it has become a battle of the thugs. They won't ever get any of my money.

That was the answer I was waiting for as well.

Whutz a marrage? Is that one of them thangs you sees in the dessert?

It's not pissing me off. I am ready to donate again if Obama decides to pick on another citizen of this country because he thinks their attacker looked like his boy.

If it is 5 feet long and fairly skinny it is probably just a rat snake. If you can keep from peeing yourself when and if you see it, it can be beneficial. Personally, I can't. So I kill them if they get in my basement. I'll let them walk (or crawl) as long as they stay in the yard. If it is 5 feet long and a little bigger around than a bean can, call someone that specializes in wildlife removal.

Had lunch there today and I will have to say that you were right about the Carolina Gold sauce. And like one of my grandsons used to say, that stuff half ain't bad. I've been trying to recover from pork overload ever since lunch.
-
When you idiots voted for the Historical President surely you knew that he would be involved in a Historical TRUCK Up.
-
I will. I'll have to find it when I get home. The Carolina sauce recipe is on here somewhere.

For the past few years we have been spraying ours with PAM, which has a little silicone in it and it seems to do fine. One thing to consider is we now have conditioned air in our houses that keep the humidity down and we don't have huge temperature swings inside the house that cause condensation. So how we treat cast iron skillets doesn't seem to be as critical as it once was.
-
Same here. My dad was one of those that would not think about letting soap anywhere near his cast iron stuff. That dang cornbread pan had a black crust built up 1/2 inch thick on the outside. I just like to see some soap go on my stuff.
-
I wish he would let me teach him how to make sauce and cornbread. I would stop cooking at home if he had those two things.
-
None taken. Next time just PM Surpip. I guess the rest of us know where we stand. Yeah, piss on us and our input. It's Surpip I want to hear from. Just kidding. All this talk about barbeque and cornbread has me hungry.
-
We wash ours with a little detergent. Once rinsed, I will put it on the stove and get it hot again to dry it out. While it is still hot, I wipe it down with oil and let it cool. The cooling metal will draw the oil into the pores. I have seen people use kosher salt and other methods. We have done ours this way for nearly 40 years and they still make great cornbread.
-
Yep. Barbeque is like sumpin sumpin. The worst I ever had was wonderful.
-
That's just strange. They have some of the best meat of any place. I usually eat it with no sauce. When I want sauce, I want it to be good sauce. They do have some really good sides and the fried catfish is THE best in Paulding or anywhere else I think.
-
Yep. I would have checked for a pulse before I cut him down.

I don't know which "they" you speaketh of. But here is a sauce I use when I cook for large groups: I substitute honey for molasses. East Carolina Barbecue Sauce Recipe from: Adapted from All Recipes | Serves: Ingredients 2 cups cider vinegar (you can cut this in half if you think it will be too vinegary for you) 2 Tablespoons molasses 1 Tablespoon ground dry mustard 1/2 cup butter 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire 1 cup packed dark brown sugar 4 teaspoons cornstarch Directions In a medium saucepan over medium heat, mix cider
