I have been invaded by these little hard shell worms with legs. Every morning they are crawling in my basement by the dozens. There have been flocks of birds eating them in the yard. I'm about ready for some cooler weather.

Hey Old buddy. I have had security clearance at CDC for the last 15 years. I probably know the CDC campus as well as anyone in Paulding County and I have also done many projects at Emory. I can without any hesitation say that I am NOT confident in the ability of either institution having the responsibility to keep a deadly virus from getting on the street. When I heard this today it pissed me off at the Cobb Justice System. The guy made a terrible mistake. One which I totally understand having been running wide open the last couple of months. But I saw on the news this morning where some drunk that had killed a woman while DUI was out on bond and the dumb SOB got another DUI. I think they might be charging him and holding him with no bail to keep him from committing suicide. If not, someone should slap the she-at out of the D.A..

Yes it was. If a corporation is given a tax break, they are in effect being given tax payer money. You can spin it any way you want but the bottom line is that someone has to fill the money bucket. Since Wellstar doesn't have to put their share in the taxpayers put it in for them. The new hospital is like laying a diamonf on a dog turd. It looks all new and sparkly, but it is still a turd.
