I voted early and there wasn't a line either time.

The TSPLOST is supposed to raise $8.5 billion over a ten year period. Anyone have a guess what the Delta fuel tax exemption will cost the state of Georgia over the next ten years? The way a politician thinks is how can we convert tax dollars into cash dollars in our bank accounts. Just a money laundering operation for the crooks.

By a wide margin is the key. We need to shove this so far up their rear ends they can taste it.

You are one of those "All or Nothing" personality types. I measure the value of things by their individual capacities. I don't go along 100% of the time with someone just because they are a Republican like so many others seem to do. I'm about sick of hearing "well I'm supporting Paulette because she voted how she was told to vote." That doesn't necessarily represent me. At the same time I don't automatically disagree with Democrats just because they are Democrats. Vincent Fort and I are on the same side of the TSPLOST (be it for different reasons). I have never been a joiner. -
July 1st marked the opening day of early voting for the July 31st primary election in Georgia . One of the most important issues in this primary election is the T-SPLOST 1% sales tax. Georgians are being asked to tax themselves an additional 1% for a minimum of 10 years to pay for transportation projects throughout the state. There are many problems with the way in which this new tax is being approached. 1. The election process allows no opt-out by counties who do not want the tax. If 51% of the voters in your region vote for the tax, then all counties in your region will be subjected to t

Shearin denies flatly suggestion he's been offered County Manager job

Well what do ya know? Me and ol' Jerry big buddies. I want to get me one of those bird hunting photos made with him like he has of him and Phil Gingrey. Maybe I'll run next time and hire Jerry as my county manager. -
The only place the words matter is in Washington and then only to pit us all against each other while both parties steal us blind.

I wish I could take credit for that one, but it was someone else on pcom. The only way we will ever know if it is a rumor is for Crowe to win and I hope for the good of us all that doesn't happen. Who are you asking me about telling you the truth? Either I need to have a few drinks or you need to back off. We're not on the same page. PS: I didn't flip-flop. I just pretended to flip-flop to push a few buttons. Got you a few hits. You're welcome. Wait! Did you just say I was less credible than The Chairdud? If it were coming from anyone else I might be insulted. oops -
It is a conflict of interest plain and simple. And this is the kind of ignorance that scares me about Mr. Crowe. We voted that bull sheeze out of this office 4 years ago and I am not ready to go back.

I didn't say it was a law. I said 400 was paid for in less than 5 years (I can't remember the exact time, but I think it was actually in the first three years). When are the politicians going to learn that we are in the information age and their old school tactics no longer work. They are some arrogant bastards. -
What was date or how long before she goes to jail?

Well hell! You should have said that from the start. If Jerry said it, that settles it. -
And he is Einstein compared to the incumbent.

I had a chicken sandwich, fry, tea and a fried peach pie at the Original Dwarf House in Hapeville today. I was about 2:30 and the place was pretty well full. Looks like the whining gays are a better marketing ploy than the cows.

Laurie, What they say and what they do have always been two different things. The minute we give them the money, all bets are off. Look at the GA 400 toll. They said 10 years and it was over. The thing is, the cost of building the toll portion of GA 400 was actually paid for in less than 5 years. If they wanted to build a little public trust they would have ended the toll five years early. Instead, Sonny Perdue, being the no-good son of a bitch he is, decided to run it another 10 years. And if the TSPLOST were to pass, we can expect more of the same behavior because we continue t -
I take it as the business support the candidate. And I remember who supports which candidate and will not do business with them. I still refuse to do business with some places that supported the school bond.

I agree with you on this one. To trade someone like David Austin for someone with no real business background just because David has an (I) beside his name in asinine.

So what I am hearing is that the idiots aren't smart enough to fix the way the money is apportioned now; but we should be willing to give them more money. -
Just pointing out that Delta is a taker, not a giver. Used to be the best airline, now they're the largest and they pretty much suck at it.

I'm just glad it was blacks and not a bunch of inbred hilbillies. I'd be worried that I had missed a family member's graduation.

I wasn't speaking any truths. I was asking a question. Black people showing their asses and being forced to leave has nothing to do with race. I has to do with them showing their asses. Now if white people had been acting like a bunch of fools and were not forced to leave ^^AS WELL^^I would consider it an act based on race. Zoo, get over yourself. I am not intimidated by the PC Gestapo.

The race card was pulled? So white people were allowed to yell and act like idiots? BTW, I feel the same way about people that yell and carry on at church. It cheapens the worship in my opinion.
